She moved my face from side to side and even looked into my eyes, I felt like she could see through me. "I don't see anything different about you my dear, tell me, have you met your fox yet?" And she stood back up and walked to the door.

"Yes ma'am I have" I tell her honestly "well you must have a strong bond or your just really lucky. Study up I'll have Jasmine run out and grab you something without fox glove in it" and before we could say anything she was out the door.

"I'll make something for you" Jasmine said walking over to the kitchen island and opening a few cabinets and pulling out some cans and boxes. "What's your foxes name? If you don't mind me asking, my shadow wolfs name is fire" star told me.

"My foxes name is moon, she's super nice I'm surprised it took so long to meet her though" I confess. "For stronger shifters it can take a few weeks to really met and talk to your animals" That made since. Star got up and walked over to my room, I followed suit.

She pulled one of my text books off my desk and flipped through the pages until a paper fell out. She looked at the page and saw that it was a part about fox shifters which I thought was weird. "Just like the other note, grab it" moon said as I picked it up I unfolded the paper.

"What's it say?" Star asked I looked at the nice fancy handwriting and read the note outloud. "To whoever finds this note, you might just be the last of our kind. Your stronger then the other shifts. You must stay strong and protect the important people in your life. Or you might end up like me. Old and alone" star looked at me funny.

"It's not the only note I found" I tell her as I pick up one of the text books and flip through the pages. Another note falls to the floor. I set the book down and pick up the last book on my desk and flip though it too. Sure enough a note falls to the floor and I'm just as weirded out as star.

All the notes had to do with being the last shifter of some kind. But what stuck out was the way this shifter would change over time "your eyes will turn amber red. Your fur will have black and red swirling together like water and oil. You will become stronger and faster and have more then just one unique power" I thought about it before Jasmine yelled that dinner was done.

We explained everything to Jasmine who was curious about the notes. She said it sounds like the last of someones shifter kind left them behind which made since. The rest of the day was spent studying my books and Jasmine explaining somethings I didn't quite understand.

Stars soon to be alpha called her for a meeting so she left to go to his dorm. She would end up being beta and needed to know what was going on in her pack back home. That night Moon talked to me and explained that we were special to say the least.

Of course me reading my history books, I knew I was the first fox shift in almost  2 hundred years. Moon told me that our tolerance for fox glove was super high so I wouldn't have to worry about it effecting us to much as long as it's in small doses.

Tomorrow morning I would be attending my first classes and I was a little nervous. I never thought I would be going to a private school for shifters. When I fell asleep that night, I had the weirdest dream...

I was in the woods, it was unfamiliar to me, I smelled the air and began to walk around to find my way out. I was lost. I was alone. I was scared.
