"What does that even mean?" He asked me and I closed the book. "I'm not to sure but let's head back to our rooms for the night. I'll let you take the book and I'll take the key. We can lock it back and once we get together tomorrow you and I can read through it. It might of been the founder of this school's diary" I locked the book back and handed it to him.
"What if people ask about it?" I began walking back the way we came. "Tell them it's none of their business. Only you and I need to know at the moment anyways" I told him as we made it back to the hallway.
"Close that back up, we should meet in the library tomorrow after lunch. Bring the book and I'll bring the key." I placed the key in my pocket and started walking away but stopped myself. "Good night, mate" I said as I continued walking "good night mate" he said back and I turned the corner to go to my room.
