Pidge Holt stood against a wall at the very back of the bar, near the restrooms, their friends not too far away from them. Keith had his arms around Lance's and Hunk's shoulders, the three of them rocking back and forth, singing some song that was blaring on the through the speakers. Pidge was the only one sober of the 4, they were going to be the ride home. When none of the guys got super drunk, they still drank, enough to get their mind off things, but not enough to make them be out of the loop.

Shiro had sat this trip out, saying he had somewhere else to be, and Pidge only expected that he was visiting his boyfriend, who he had tried to keep a secret but couldn't, mainly because of the time Pidge saw him sneaking out to meet him.

As Pidge stood against the wall, watching the people around them, they couldn't help but wonder all of their stories. Everyone had a story, and someone's story would define how you felt towards the person. Like, for example, Keith's backstory. Keith was thrown out by his family when he was ten and had been living on his own until Shiro found him outside the school he taught at one day. The reason for Keith being kicked out wasn't known, but none of the friends forced it out of him, knowing it was something that would potently remind him of memories he didn't want to think of.

Glancing from person to person, Pidge noted everyone's style, and how some people wore darker clothes that hid their body when others wore brighter clothes that shone the body off to the people around them. Around the bar, there were a lot of girls in fishnet tights and short-shorts, along with males wearing tighter shirts and pants. Or course, these people could be gender non confirming, Pidge thought as a side note, closing their eyes for a few seconds and opening them again, drifting their sight of vision over to their friends again.

Now, Hunk was bent over laughing, hitting his fist on the table.

"PIIIIIIIIIIIIDGIIIIIIIIIIIIIOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOONNNNNNNNNN" Lance yelled, causing Keith to slap him, Lance just simply shrugging it off. "C'MERRRRRREEEEEEEEE"

Sighing, Pidge walked over to Lance, bracing themself for a stupid joke that someone made- from the look of it, Hunk, for he was still laughing. "what?" they asked, sitting in an empty chair across the table from Hunk, who had knocked over a glass and was laughing even harder as he tried to pick it up, the glass slipping out of his hands and rolling on the table over and over again.

Lance, who was now laughing at the troubles Hunk was having setting the empty glass back up, managed to say "I forgot" before going into hysterics again. Hunk and Lance seemed to be in a Happy Drunk state, whilst Keith was silent for the most part.

"Are you okay?" Pidge asked Keith, grabbing the glass and flipping it around, slightly tossing it in the air as they did so, then setting it down without any trouble, causing Lance and Hunk to go silent for a few seconds because laughing at nothing. "you seem quite" Pidge said, ignoring Lance and Hunk, who were now almost at the floor from laughing so hard.

"Yeah, I'm fine," Keith said, smiling sadly at Lance and Hunk. "I wish I could laugh over nothing"

"How much have they had to drink?" Pidge asked, glancing over the table at the two, who had finally made it to the floor, rolling around in hysterics.
