Hello there! I suppose you're here to read the last chapter of Moving In, but surprise surprise, the last chapter isn't a story chapter! That's right! The story ended with Chapter10! This chapter will actually discuss some changes I did to the plot and what the original plot (and the multiple ones between it and this plot) was!
Fun Facts: This book was originally going to be Lloya VS Jaya. Yes. You read it right.
Jay was originally NOT going to get shot. Yep. Originally, Jay was going to ask Nya out on valentine's day. (Hence the dates in the chapters) but I changed it XD
This book was supposed to be 30 chapters long. Yes. Thirty painstaking chapters of Lloya VS Jaya. So, naturally, I scrapped it.
And now, the multiple plots I had for it: (please don't use them unless you ask me for permission as I'm still planning another book using this idea.)
1. Original plot:
Jay moves in with Cole, sees Nya, falls for her, but doesn't know Lloyd (who in this was actually the same age as Nya) also likes Nya.
Nya, however, likes both of them. Valentine's Day occurs, and both ask her out. What does Nya do? Decline both. This leads to a dilemma between the three, and Jay and Nya become friends, while Lloyd, who's determined to try to win Nya's heart, goes on all sorts of antics and long shots like, making friends with Kai and trying to influence him, trying to make Nya jealous by asking out another girl, and even going so far as to try (and fail) to sabotage Jay and Nya's hangout sessions as friends.
Jay, however, after becoming friends with Nya again, starts to fall for her again. He then enlists help from Seliel, who is a Jaya shipper all the way. Then, Lloyd tries (and succeeds) in being friends with Nya, and starts to steer her away from Jay by not inviting him to hangouts, and Kai also starts to trust Lloyd, not aware that Lloyd's trying to make her fall for himself.
Eventually, when Jay does get the courage to ask Nya out again, he consults Cole (and Kai for permission) and Kai reluctantly approves of Jay because Jay asked him first. Lloyd, however, gets wind of Jay's plan because of Cole talking to Seliel about it, and goes for a very, and I mean very, brave action by kissing Nya right before Jay asks her.
This, as you may expect, breaks Jay's heart break, and he spirals into a rabbit hole of depression, jealousy and anger, giving the cold shoulder to everyone but Seliel, Cole, and Zane. Nya, as you may expect, is very, very angry at Lloyd for doing that, and doesn't talk to him. She desperately tries to talk to Jay, but fails. This continues for a few chapters with minor things like Kai being angry at Lloyd, Jay trying his hardest to (and surprisingly) successfully ignore Nya.
Lloyd then begins to realise how much his love caused him to change. He realises he doesn't want to be like this. He Apologizes to Nya, the two become friends, and stay that way. He also tries to apologise to Jay, but fails. Then, when Jay gets almost shot by some gangsters he was taking on along with the guys, he lands into the hospital because of a significant rise in his anxiety level.
Jay and Nya make up there, and officially kiss. The end.
See what I did there? I changed the whole story except for shot thing. (Except for changing that little detail).
Here are some more ideas I had: (y'all are free to use these ones!)
1. Same begining. Jay asks Nya. Nya accepts. The story is all happy-happy for a few chapters. Nya finds out Jay's a Ninja. She gets mad. They both argue. Jay has to go on a mission, gets shot, and voila! Same ending.
2. Same as last one but Jay and Nya aren't a couple.
And Done! Moving In is officially over!
Well, I guess I'll have to start my next book. After a little break, of course. (Which means after Christmas.)
Though I have already posted it and it already has a character intro! Check it out! It's called, 'Ninjago: Into the Jayverse'. As you can guess, it's a sort of parody. It's also a humour book! It's officially awesome! (I love to use the word 'officially' a lot XD)
Bye! See y'all later in my next book!
