We got everything out things do feel better. They head out the door. Natsuo hugs me tight before leaving. Shoto is the last one out. "I need to ask a favor you don't have to accept." He says. "Sure what is it?" I ask. "Could you come with me to see mom after school?" He asks looking down.
He doesn't feel safe. "Sure but why is it you want to see her?" I ask. "I just need to get some stuff off my chest. I've been visiting her for awhile now. I just feel like maybe you should come with me. You don't have to talk to her our come in the room. I'd just like you to be there." He says. "Okay I can do that. I'll take you out for lunch after." I say. He nods then hugs me tight. I hug him back.
He leaves. I just sigh. My eyes hurt now.
Time skip
Me and Keigo spent as much time together as we could before Shoto got off of school. He's so comforting and loving. He makes me feel so much better. I can't wait to be his wife. I look at the hospital. We hold hands and go in. I explain to the doctor that I won't be going in.
She apologizes again for the accident. I have them leave the door open so I can see Shoto. It's silent. He tries to talk to her but she's silent. I see her from the reflection in the window. She's making that face. "I don't care anymore I don't care about you or (Y/n) you both could die and I wouldn't even care. I'd kill you myself just to put you out of my misery for giving birth to such disgusting looking demon children." She says.
He's broken and terrified. I hear her activate her quirk and she makes an ice shard. She runs to him but he's frozen in fear and shock. I run in the room and set my fist on fire with huge flames. I punch her across the face as hard as I can. She falls to the ground. I put him behind me.
I pick her up by her shirt. She looks at me in terror. I keep one hand on fire. My blue flames burn brightly. "You are a pathetic evil woman. Having the intention of killing your own children. I should burn you to ashes right here and now. I won't though. You deserve every bad thing that comes to you. I don't care if you're my mother. I will protect him with my life. If you intend to kill any of us. You come after me first. I won't lay down though. So I suggest you watch yourself." I say. I drop her back on the ground. She goes to make another shard. The doctor comes in and gives her some kind of sleeping drug. I get off of her and extinguish my flames. She has a burn on her left eye. I take Shoto's hand and we leave. "Don't visit her again. I know how much she means to you but you heard what she said. If she ever tries anything like that and I find out. I won't hesitate to end her." I say. He just looks down. "I'm sorry Shoto." I say.
"You shouldn't be. I never knew that that's what she really wanted." He says. "Don't blame yourself." I say. "She only got worse. I'm glad you decided to let me join you. I knew you felt scared to go. You didn't know what would happen after everything that was said on Thanksgiving and yesterday. I knew that there was a possibility of her not being as stable after seeing me. I didn't think she'd go that far though. She was able to handle you before though so I thought hopefully he can still see her with out her losing complete control." I say.
He just holds my hand tight. I look at him and he's crying. He holds me tight. I hold him back. I rub his back and hold the back of his head. "You can spend the night with me. I'm sure you don't want to be home right now. Would you like that?" I ask. He nods.
I wipe his tears and kiss his forehead. "I'll do my best to make everything better." I say.
Time skip
Shoto is in the bathroom taking a shower. I get my phone and text Keigo about today. He freaked out but I assured him that we are okay. I told Fuyumi about it and she was worried. I told her that he needs some space from home so he's staying with me. I also said not to tell dad. That I'll tell him myself.
She said okay and to be safe. He comes out of the restroom with the shirt and sweat pants that are baggy on me. They fit him perfectly. I put my phone on charge. I pull the sheets back. "Come on lay right here." I say. I pat the spot next to me.
He gets in bed. I turn the light off then hold him. I rub his back. He falls asleep. A tear rolling across his face. I wipe it and kiss his forehead.
