"Fuyumi I can dress myself you know that right?" I say. "Yeah yeah but this is a date we're talking about. You need to look like you actually care and want to make things work with him." She says putting the groceries in the fridge. I sit at the bar. "He may like you but still that doesn't mean just throw on a pair of shorts and a sweater like you normally do. You are too cute for that." She says helping herself to a dr.pepper then shuts the fridge.
"Now come on we have work to do." She says taking my hand and going to my room. "I really doubt this is a big deal." I say sitting on the bed. "Listen to big sis trust me and let me dress you up like I use to." She say opening my closet. "Being the neat freak you are you probably have the clothes I bought you in the back." She says walking in. I regret everything. "I knew it. I don't understand why you never wore these I could have sworn you would have liked some of this stuff." She says. "I'm always working or when I get the chance I just wear comfy clothes." I say.
"Well my beautiful sister deserves to wear pretty things like this outfit I picked out for you. I saw your face light up when I showed you it." She says. "I never have the time." I say looking down. She sighs. "Try to get out more okay so you can wear these cute clothes and not let them get covered in cobwebs." She says. "Okay." I say. "Now go shower while I get the accessories together and think about how I want to do your make up." She says. "Yes ma'am." I say jokingly.
Time skip
She fixes my make up. "And perfect." She says. She puts me in front of my full length mirror. I stand there not even recognizing myself. "I know right. You're finally seeing how beautiful you are? A little make up and cute clothes go a long way. What do you think?" She asks. "I love it." I say examining myself and how much I like the outfit.

He's here. "I'm not ready." I say. She wasn't there. I leave the bedroom. She had already packed up the cold groceries. "Well go answer the door." She says. I go to the door and open it. "Woah." He says with a little blush on his cheeks.
"Is it too much?" I ask. "No no you look amazing, beautiful." He says. My face feels like it's on fire. I'm probably camouflaged with my hair. "You look nice too." I say. "Thanks." He says with a smile. He's so handsome even out of his hero suit.

We get to the buffet. "Something is off about you tonight." He says. "Hm what do you mean?" I ask. "You seem more shy and nervous. Really vulnerable and unlike you." He says eating some chicken. "It's just I've never been on a date before." I say looking down with pink cheeks.
He chokes a little then takes a big swallow of his drink. "Are you serious? You have to be kidding me right?" He says shocked. "I'm serious." I say. "How have you not been on a date before? Were the guys that asked you not up to your standards? Were they creepy and weird? Did your dad kill them before they got a chance to?" He asked. "You want the short version?" I ask. "I've got time." He says.
