Willa had worked a long shift once again. Being a nurse, especially in the oncology department, did not come easily but she loved her job. Of course, upon arriving back at the apartment she shared with her friend, Alessia, who preferred to go by Alex, she was immediately hounded to go to the club that night. Willa wanted nothing more than to curl up in bed and cuddle with her blanket that night, eating some hot cheetos and watching 'Criminal Minds' on Netflix but she agreed to go clubbing, knowing Alex would not let it go.
Willa's blonde hair was curled into looser, blonde curls with her light makeup accentuating her blue eyes. The white satin dress she put on helped show her body off in all the right places, the dress dipping down in the back to expose her entire back and a small slit in the leg revealing her hips, as the dress ended at her midthigh already. She adjusted the straps on her dress and rubbed her lips together before spritzing some J'Adore by Dior perfume on and sliding on some white heels to make her five-foot stature turn her into five-foot-six. With that, she walked out of the room and headed down the elevator with Alex.
To say the club was bustling would be an understatement, Alex and Willa arriving to an already packed club. It was a Friday in New York though, it was not unusual for the clubs to be busy. Alex and Willa were in about 2 drinks already and grinding on each other on the dance floor. Most people would more than likely mistake the two as a couple.
Willa was the single one of the pair—her engagement just ending a month prior while Alex had been in a stable relationship with her boyfriend, Hayden, for a few months now. For the first time though, Willa was smiling and having fun since the break up, "Alex! I'm getting another drink!" She yelled, wanting her to hear her speak. Alex nodded, "Okay! I'll be right here, dancing!" She slurred, causing Willa to smile a bit. Wasted already, she thought to herself.
Willa walked to the bar and sat down, ordering another drink from the bartender who more than clearly was interested in the blonde. But she never gave him more than a passing glance. "What are you doing here? I saw you dancing your life away on the floor." A husky voice spoke from next to her, causing Willa to jump slightly and look towards where the voice came from. If anything, her breath got caught in her throat. To say this man was handsome would be a complete lie—he could pass for a greek god. His chiseled jawline, striking emerald eyes and brown hair with slight curls in it. Quickly redeeming herself, Willa raised an eyebrow and licked her lips, "I wanted another drink. Dancing takes your breath away sometimes." She watched the man smile and sit down next to her, sticking his hand out, "'M Harry Styles and you are?" She smiled back softly, placing her hand in his and shaking it, "I'm Willa. Willa Gray. It's a pleasure, Mr. I-Like-To-Watch-Women-I-Don't-Know-Dance." She teased.
Harry grinned, placing his hands up, "How could I not look with you wearing that, love?" His British accent popping with him calling her 'love.' She blushed softly, shifting in her seat and shrugging her shoulders, "Good point." Willa knew she looked good in the dress—she'd be stupid to deny that and would look like one of those girls who say they're ugly for attention. Willa knew better than that and knew men hated it. Her drink came and was rested next to her by the bartender that still longed for her, "So, what are you doing here, British Boy?" She spoke, quickly adopting a nickname for him. The smile that spread on his lips caused his dimples to pop out, "It's my birthday. Although, my mates left with some girls they met."
Willa hummed and nodded, "Well, now you have me!" The two smiled at each other, Willa ordering a drink for her new friend Harry. It was more than obvious the two would get along better than anything. The pair spoke for hours, Alex completely leaving Willas mind until she came up to her, "Alright, love birds, not trying to break up the party and the possibility of Willa getting dick, which she desperately needs, but it's late and we must go!" Willas cheeks burned a deep red shade before she slapped Alex's arm and stood up, "It was nice meeting you, Harry. I'll definitely text you." They had swapped numbers at some point during their conversation and Harry smiled at Willa, "I'll be looking forward to it, beautiful. It was a pleasure meeting you, as well as you, Alex." He stood up with a nod, wrapping an arm around Willa and pulling her into a hug, which she gladly reciprocated.
Willa and Alex arrived home from the club, both of them quickly dispersing with a quick 'goodnight' and going to their own bedrooms. Willa removed her makeup and washed her face, doing her skincare routine which she still didn't know if it actually worked or if listening to all these celebrities was just wasting her money. Either way, she wasn't stopping. Her hair was thrown up into a messy bun as she changed into an oversized t-shirt before climbing into bed. Her finger hovered over the new contact sitting in her phone. She debated if she should text him or not, her still slightly drunken state making it up for her. A simple text would suffice before she fell into her deep sleep, still thinking of Harry.
