Luke's P. O. V.

I was beyond surprised and pissed when Rose kicked me right in my buddies. She then ran away, leaving me with an intense pain.

I thought that she was joking when she said that I was going to regret it. And I did, eventually. I've never been so rejected by girl like that and it felt weird. I had every single girl in this school and she was not going to be the exception anyways.

I won't deny that she was beautiful. She had those big brown eyes, that long black hair and a great body. There's only one certain thing: she is a great looking babe. I don't usually give complements to girls but she is hot.

After I got myself together, I drove back home. I was smoking a cigarette to relax myself. This chick was a really good kicker. She could enter the football team or some stuff.

I shut down my car and grabbed my keys. I opened the door and entered my house and went directly to the kitchen. My mom was cooking something and when she saw me she smiled.

" How was school today honey?. She asked me.

" It was fine though". I told her.

" Why that face? You seem like someone just kicked you hard. If you know what I mean ". She said giggling, I rolled my eyes. Mom was always a joker.

" You have no idea". I told her with amusement.

After I ate, I went directly to the my room. I took a shower and began to do my homework. Yes okey! I do my homework. Not big deal though. I couldn't give a damn about school but for the ladies, you need to now shit.

After I finished, I dressed myself and headed to my car. Not caring where I was going.

Rose's P. O. V.

I was just doing my homework ( they were many ),when my mom called me from the kitchen. I quickly ran down the stairs ( almost falling, again ), and got there. My mom just raised an eyebrow at me and told me:

" You need to be careful, I don't want to have a tragedy now". She said in a joking tone. Really funny, mom ( note: sarcasm).

I just narrowed my eyes at her. She just giggled.

" By the way, how was your first day of school?". She asked me with an amused gesture.
I shrugged and then sat down on the little wooden chair that was next to the counter.

" It was fine ". I said. " The classes are very heavy but I can handle it". I told her moving on my sit.

" Did you make new friends or meet someone? ". She asked interested.

" Yeah, kind of ". Then I started to tell her about my day but kept for myself the unpleased meeting with the idiot.

" Okey, then. " She reached for my hand.
" Sweetie I know it's hard at first but later you'll meet new people and have good friends. It's just a matter of time. Don't worry". She told me with a small smile. How I loved my mom.

I smiled back. " Thaks mom". She squeezed my hand.

" Can you help me with the dinner? Your father will come back soon". She said looking at her watch.

" Sure". I said standing up and entering the kitchen.

I was about to grab something when I burned myself. I cursed under my breath. I wasn't the best cook.

" What happened Rosie? ". Mom asked me preoccupied.

" Nothing. I just burned myself ". I told her flinching. She then went to the bathroom and went back, she put a cream on my burn that felt good. I felt better.

After I helped her to prepare the dinner, my dad came home and we ate together. We talked about random things and when we finished, I went to my room to finish my homework and my parents went to bed. After that I prepared myself for sleep.

I couldn't sleep. At all. And that was frustrating. I was just lying in my bed and thinking about today's events. This guy was indeed, an idiot. He didn't give a damn about other people's feelings. At least that was what he was showing off. Like he didn't even know me and was already flirting with me? Like what in the heck?

The best solution is avoiding him. But all in all, I needed to apologize. I know it sounds stupid but a kick in the balls, especially to a guy, is a really big deal and really painful too.

So, I was going to give him a quick apologize and then avoid him. Yeah, great idea. Rose you're like the next Einstein.

But in the bottom, I just felt pity for him. He thinks that he has everyone wrapped around his finger and that is a really serious problem. He needs to come back to earth and quickly.
