Lindsey had just gotten out of the shower, when Lauren showed up. He was still only wearing a towel around his waist, when he let her in. Telling her that he was going to be right back, Lindsey turned around to walk into his bedroom. Lauren followed, of course, and she frowned, when his back faced her.

"What's happened to your back?" She attempted to step up closer to him, but Lindsey quickly realized exactly what she meant and spun around to look at her, pulling his shirt down over his head.

"Uh, it's a bug bite. I guess, I scratched it a bit too hard." His nails were no match for Stevie's and Lindsey hoped that Lauren wasn't going to dwell on it. He needed to have a talk with Stevie about it. She tended to get rather aggressive, she didn't care about marking him even though she should have. "You look beautiful." Lindsey changed the subject and Lauren smiled, tucking a strand of hair away from her face. "You don't have to get shy about it." He said, giving her a quick kiss, before he went to look or his pants.

Lauren's phone pinged and she took it out of her purse. She sighed and rolled her eyes. "Jane is going crazy."

"Why? What's going on?" Lindsey asked, not really interested as he put his belt through the loops.

"She's just sent me two pictures of two different guys. She can't decide, who to invite to our weekend getaway." Lauren turned her phone to Lindsey, but he barely looked. "I wonder if Stevie's bringing anyone."

That caught his attention. Lindsey swallowed uneasily and tilted his eyes up to meet Lauren's. "I thought, she was single."

"She is!" Lauren nodded. "Can you believe that? If I were a man, I'd drop down to my knees and worship the ground she walks on. That woman is..." She trailed off and fanned herself.

"I suppose, she's alright." Lindsey shrugged, trying not to get too focused on Stevie, lying naked in his bed a couple of hours ago.

"Alright?" Lauren scoffed. "Have you looked at her?"

"Yes, Lauren, I have met her, you know." He moved over to his dresser for his cologne.

"Well, there was this guy."

Lindsey swiftly turned around. "What guy?" He felt like he was too quick to ask.

"I don't really know, but the girls went out like a month or so ago and apparently, Stevie met someone. It's so unlike her, but she went home with him! Can you believe that?"

"I don't really know her all that well, so..." Lindsey shrugged. What he couldn't believe was that Lauren knew about that night.

"And the next day, she and Jane came over to my place. Jane brought it up and at first, Stevie tried to act coy, but then she just went like, oh, it was the best sex I've ever had!" Lauren did her best impression of Stevie, causing Lindsey's eyes to grow wide. She just thought that he found the story intriguing, while in truth, Lindsey was extremely pleased with the information he had just been given. "Anyway, she swore to never see him again, which I think is stupid. She's missing out."

Lindsey scratched the back of his head and laughed nervously. "Yeah. But hey, it's Stevie's choice."

"I know, I know." Lauren sighed, nodding. "But she hasn't been in any relationship for so long now, she has this agenda against men."

He didn't even have to ask and he was learning things about Stevie, which she didn't want to share with him. "Oh yeah? What's that?"

"I-" Lauren stopped herself, biting into her bottom lip. "I think, I've already said too much. I'm sure Stevie wouldn't want me spilling all her secrets."

Lindsey clenched his fist and forced a smile, so close. "Yeah, you're probably right."

"Alright, you ready?" Lauren put her phone back in her purse. "I don't want to be late. We'll never hear the end of it, my father is a very punctual man."
