"Gwaine, no we are not going to the bar. Elyan, don't walk off and get lost. Leon, keep the knights in order you're good at that. No." Merlin barks lists of orders as the large group of men make their way out of the house. Merlin could not tell if having his friends back was better considered a curse than a blessing.

"Shut up." Arthur yells and the entire group falls silent. "No, this isn't the best situation, but you're forgetting the fact we have Merlin to actually guide us through this." The knights all apologetically look at Merlin knowing they had been ignoring most of his say so as of yet. "Merlin is our only hope. So maybe we should all say goodbye to our lives now."

A small wave of laughter from the knights made Merlin roll his eyes, "You just had to insult me, didn't you?" Merlin asks, only receiving a nod in response from Arthur. "Fine." Merlin says shoving them all out of the door then proceeding to close and lock it. "Good luck finding your way in the new world without me bitches." Merlin hadn't expected to be quite that extravagant about it but he wasn't going to complain.

Merlin walks to his sofa and gets seated, hearing the door handle rattle and banging, along with a barrage of voices yelling at him. He proceeded to ignore them until there was suddenly no more noise and he panicked that there may now be a bunch of Knights from a legend walking around this century's England. It would not end well, as he had already seen with Gwaine and his minute adventure that took space in less than a day without supervision.

He stood up and looked through the window, to see Arthur and the rest of them huddled and whispering. "If we stay here long enough quietly he'll think we've gone and let his guard down, then Gwaine you can go to the back of the..."

"You know I'm old, not deaf?" Merlin sasses from the window, alarming the group of men. Which was highly amusing to watch, the look of failure on Leon's face, and the disappointment on Percival's, against the annoyed looks of Arthur and the rest. Merlin decided this would be a fun time to toy with them all, his King Arthur was no longer actually his King. He could quite freely embarrass him now, not that he hadn't done in the past, but now it was more fun knowing he held all the cards. "I'll keep my promise to show you the modern world, if you apologise."

"Me?" Arthur snorts.

"Yes."

"Well fine, I'm sorry." Arthur throws his hands in the air and rolls his eyes.

"I'll need something more genuine than that." Merlin smirks and all but Arthur do too, as it was rather amusing watching Arthur get flustered over situations involving his pride.

"I've said sorry Merlin, now keep your promise." Merlin gives a thoughtful look then shrugs. "What more do you want?"

"You really don't like not being in control do you?" Merlin laughs and Arthur curls his lips, biting them in his annoyance.

"This is nothing to do with control Merlin. Now get out here, you're my servant and you will do as I say."

"I think you forget whose house you're living in, and the fact this isn't Camelot or your Kingdom anymore." Merlin says, getting more aggravated by the second. He hadn't been anyone's servant in centuries and he wasn't going to put up with it now. This tease had become more of a heated argument.

"Arthur." Gwaine says, placing his hand on the man's shoulder and forcing him to turn around and he gave him a noticeable look as to calm down. "Merlin, sorry we all overstepped and we apologise, this is your home and you know more than all of us. Can you please help us?"

Merlin nodded and opened the door, and bagan walking towards the town. The group followed but a silence had fallen over them, mostly due to the awkward tension Merlin and Arthur had unintentionally created. Merlin quickly looked at the time on his phone and it was just past midday.
