9-The perfect crime

After eating and introducing myself to Faye, Lizzie, Candice and I decided to went on the shore. The cold wind presses against my skin. The cold water sent chill to my bones. From our view, we saw the location where the bonfire is. We saw the boys having fun with their little-but-oh-so-special-guest.

"She seems nice." I blurted out as I play into the water.

"Who? Me? Yeah, I'm nice." Candice answered that made us laugh.

"No, not you. I mean, Faye. She seems nice and they look cute together." I slightly smiled trying to look okay. I'm okay. But... I don't know there's something wrong with me.

I feel hurt when I saw her. When she said she's Calum's lover. When I saw them.

"What?! Nah! She's a bitch. She's just nice whenever Calum is around." Candice look at me irritated. She pointed Lizzie that is now quietly kicking the sand. "Ask Lizzie."

"Nope. She's not a bitch. She just has an attitude problem." Lizzie answered.

"You know what, you better stay away from her. I don't like her. I don't like her for Cal."

"Are they childhood friends?" I asked. I look to where they are and I saw Calum's arm around her shoulder.

"Yeah. She's Calum's long-time crush."

We went back to where they are. Luke stood up and gave me his beanie.

"It's cold. Wear it." I just simply smiled.

"Thanks but I think you need it ---"

"Come on, you're not used to cold places right? Just wear it."

We sat down in front of the beautiful light of the bonfire. I sat next to Luke, our body almost brushing. Across us where Calum and Faye were. They're still in the position where I saw them when we were on the shore. Calum's arm around her shoulder.

"Here." Luke suddenly gave me a piece of sandwich. "I made it."

"Thanks." I was about to take a bite when I smell something that crinkled my nose. "What was that?"

"What? Oh, it has peanut butter."

"Opps... she doesn't like peanuts. She hate it." Calum blurted out that made everyone look at him.

"Really?" Luke asked.

"Ahm... yeah, I don't eat peanuts."I confirmed. Luke's face frowned.

"My bad. I'm sorry."

"That's fine. Thanks by the way."

"Here take this." Calum gave me another sandwich, this time it's made up of strawberry. Faye look at him uncertain.

"I don't get it. Peanuts taste good. It's delicious." Michael frown as he gets Luke's sandwich.

"Ahm... Azalea, did you bring waffles? I love the one you cook for us." Ash asked.

I feel awkward.

"Yeah! Those waffles were the best!" Michael added.

"But I thought you like my waffles, Michael?" Faye asked him frowning.

So she also cooked for them?

"That piece of shit." Candice whispered rolling her eyes. I'm glad Faye doesn't heard it.

"That taste good but Carrie's waffles taste better, right Luke?" Michael answered Luke on the other hand, turn away.
