22- Meet the folks

Pink... Black? Blue... Green?

"Argghhh!" I threw myself onto my bed that is full of dresses. I've been picking the whole day which dress should I wear but nothing suits me. "What should I wear?"

I don't have a clue what kind of family Luke has. All I know that he has a terror mom which is Liz. She's the kind of a mom that is very strict , since she's a math teacher, and a very intimidating lady. About Andy, I dont know much of him since his this type of dad that is supportive quiet guy. I dont have any impression about Luke's older brothers, Ben and Jack. All I knew is Lizzie.

"I heard you downstairs. What's up?" Candice said as she walked in my room.

"Nothing much... Just some things." I said as I stood up facing her.

"I heard you'll be going to meet Luke's folks." I nod. "And you're having trouble choosing what to wear?" she asked agaim.

"Bingo!"

"And you know, I'm going to help you?"

"Another point for you!" this time she rolled her eyes.

She walk straight to my closet and scan for any possible clothes I could wear. "You're closet looks terrible. You dont even have a nice dress."

I'm not a girly type of a girl.

"I prefer jeans and shirt." I said under my breath reason for her to look at me. "You're impossible." and she headed her way out.

After a couple of minutes, she came back holding a plain white dress. "Here. Try this out."

I went to my bathroom and change. It fits me sice we're in the same size.

"I'm so great." she said as I went out of the bathroom. "You look perfect."

It's already 7:00 in the evening and it's time for me to walk downstairs. One last look in the mirror and I'm ready. Thanks to my fairy-sister for the dress, hair and make up. I look like a princess wearing a simple white dress with a braided hair up do.

Waiting in the couch is where I found Calum. He's busy watching the football game. He stood immediately as he saw me approaching him.

"Woah..." is all he said.

"Woah... What?

"You look stunning."

"I'm terrible. I'm so nervous."

"Don't be. I'm sure Liz will like you." he said assuring me that everything will be fine.

I hope so.

"Just be who you are. Liz is a strict yet sweet mom. She's not into fakes so just act comfortably." he placed his hands on my cheeks making me look at him. I'm sure, I'm blusing. "If Luke and the lads like you... They will too." and then kissed my forehead.

We were interrupt by a someone who clears his throat. "I'm here."

"Luke..."

Awkward.

"Shall we go?" and I nod.

With one last look, Calum mouthed 'Just be you'

Okay we're now in the front porch of Luke's house and from the outside, I could smell the roasted chicken.

"Oh fucK.  I think I'm gonna pee. " I whispered nervously. I want to back out. I want to go home and lay down my bed. Thinking what Liz would be her reaction when she finally meet me. Knowing her and her strict-intimidating attitude would scare the hell out you.
