The same day I gave my number to Luke he texted me that night.

:Is'nt that like a romance movie?
I knew that, but seeing a romance film with a hot guy makes the perfect day.

:Well yeah... If you don't want to see it that's fine.
It made me a bit upset, but it's nothing I cant get over, but to my surprise he texted back,

:I'll pick you up at 6, movie starts at 7:30! We can get dinner before :D
That brought back my faded smile. Dinner+Movie= AMAZAYN NIGHT!

I had no idea where he was taking me and when I called him to ask he said,
"It's a surprise." I laughed and said goodbye, but on the inside I had no idea what to do . 'What do I wear? How should I do my make-up or what about my hair?!?' All these things were running through my mind when my phone started ringing. I looked at the caller ID and it read "Blocked".
Without thinking about it I answered.
"Hello?" I said into the phone.
"Is this Dawn Rayne?" A husky male voice spoke back. I curiously asked,
"Yes and who is asking?" The male voice on the other end did'nt respond so after a few seconds I asked quite aggravated, "Hello!?!" This dude just thinks he can be all creeper when I have a lot of other things on my mind.
"Sorry Umm.. This is Geoff Payne." That name... I've heard it before... 'Holly fuck!' My mind screamed as my phone dropped to the floor with a 'Thump'. Picking up my phone I asked,
"D-Dad?" Not really knowing if it was him or not.
"You can call me that or if you want you can call me Geoff." My dad? I have'nt talked to him since I was three and even then I was hardly able to understand him. He left me and my mum for another woman way back. I did'nt realize he was still on the phone till he called me out of my trance.
"Dawn?! Are you still there?" I still could'nt put my thoughts into words, because there was to many.
"Yeah...Ugh Geoff... How did you get my number? 'Really Dawn, out of all the questions you could have asked you picked that one?!'
"Well I heard about the contest you won over there in Melbourne and so I called up the manager and she gave me your number."
"Oh..." Was all I could muster out. My mind was on over drive and it was giving me a headache.
"Dawn I want to start over with you. I want things to be okay." 'START OVER' I yelled in my head. That sentence got under my skin and just busted.
