I've always had a thing for rain it's so calming
When I was little I would lay down on the warm concrete while it was pouring but my dad would always say I would hypothermia but I never did
Thinking of the memories before my dad started distancing from us and focusing on his science stuff always put a smile on my face I sat in the rain for another 30 minutes then dried off and slept
The rain took me away from my worries I didn't think about anything else besides the rain and I slept peacefully but for sure I no when I awake I'll be hit back into the reality with never ending questions and no answers
I awoke and got dressed,grabbed my suitcase and headed downstairs to see everyone except Peter "where is Peter"
"He's not coming" Steve said "what he's gonna get himself killed"
"I told him to lay low only spider around at night" I sighed "Ok that will be shared is steve and Bucky,me and Bruce,vision and Clint,nat and Wanda,and then Thor and Emma." Tony said we nodded while me and Thor high-five My sleeve fell down and you could see my bruise when we high-fived I pulled it down real quick and fake smiled and looked around to see bucky,Thor,and nat looking at me "what is that lady Emma" he said with his loudly might I add and grabbed my wrist
I mentally face palmed "how did you get that" tony said I turned to him as everyone was looking at me waiting for an answer
Then I looked at Bucky and he looked to the side to avoid my eyes
He felt bad
"Uhh last night I was on my balcony and accidentally shut the door on my wrist"
"It was pouring rain I woke up to thunder why were you on your balcony" Bruce looked at me at the mention of thunder "I like the rain" I said unsure they stared at me for a little while then walked away
I let out a breath I didn't know I was holding when I felt a tap on my shoulder making me jump "wow calm down girl now what really happened to your wrist" Natasha said I knew she would read me like a card there is no way she believed my horrible story
I told her what really happened "well I'm sure there was a reason but he shouldn't have done that but don't worry next time me and him fight I'll make sure to go very hard on him" she nudges me and I giggle
