I walked down the stairs to the bar. I kept adjusting my hair and I got to the bar. Liz and Sally were there, Sally was fiddling about on her phone while Liz was smoking, refilling Sally's drink every now and then.
"Hey ladies" I smiled as I strolled over. Sally turned her head to me and she did a quick smile.
"Do you know how to work this?" She asked me, handing me over her phone.
"Probably" I took her phone as I sat down, it hurt from James ;). I slightly winced and Liz caught on.
"Uh oh..." she smirked at me devishly. I needed to quickly change the subject.
"Uh... so, you want me to help you with Snapchat?" I asked Sally. She let out a puff of her cigarette and she sipped on her rum.
"Yeah. How do you do the stupid filters?" Sally asked me, wafting her hand about. She seemed irritated that she couldn't work it.
Liz handed me over a rum and a coke as I was showing Sally how to do the filters.
"Heh, this is my fave" I put a silly filter on Sally and she laughed. She took the phone off me and she played around a little more. I sipped on my drink as me and Liz exchanged looks, grinning at Sally having so much fun. Sally flipped the camera round and she recorded Liz and I - putting funky filters on. Liz shielded her face and turned around.
"Sally! Get that damn thing out my face" Liz shouted. Me and Sally burst out laughing then she suddenly recorded me, zooming in close to my face. I glanced at the camera and looked away, drinking my drink and ruffling my hair.
"You look sexy right now" laughed Sally. I snickered and Liz giggled with me.
"Okay, play times over" I covered the camera with my palm and Sally stopped recording.
"So... Grace, who were them two people in the lobby?" Liz asked me, smoking some more.
"Oh uh, there were my Um..." I cleared my throat mid sentence "my parents" Liz and Sally darted their eyes at each other.
"We need to get them OUT the Cortez" Liz demanded. I nodded my head at her.
"As much as I love them, I would rather have them out there and live their lives, even if that means I can't see them again" I drank some of my glass and Liz's face dropped, seeing my sudden change of mood. Sally put her hand on top of mine.
"We can scare them out or something" she recommended. I looked up and her and bit my lip, shaking my head.
"Both got weak hearts, probably kill them on the spot" I chuckled.
"Okay so uh... we could just kick them out. Say there's been a sudden accident and need all visitors to leave" Sally then said. I didn't mind that idea.
"Sure" I finished my glass then Liz gave me water instead of a refill - I have been drinking throughout the day.
"Anyway! I didn't come here to talk about that, I'm here to talk about the masquerade ball!" I hit my hand on the bar and Liz cheered, Sally was still focused on Snapchat.

James' POV

"Nothing more than a junkie hobo" I spat out to the man. He was tied on the bed and had a cloth wrapped around his mouth, tied at the back of his head. He shook his head at me, violently. I removed the rag away from his mouth.
"Do you believe in God?" I asked the man. He hesitantly nodded his head at me.
"Do you think he's going to protect you?" I asked the man.
"He gives me hope" he protested.
"Nothing more than hope?" I asked the man. I walked over to the mini bar In the room and I poured myself some straight vodka.
"He has something planned for me" he snarled. I shot my head back at him then faced my glass again. I walked back over to him, sipping on my glass with my hand in my pocket.
"What or whom?" I asked him, sipping on my vodka. I still extremely small sips so I didn't show much of a reaction to the alcohol.
"I used to have a girl. Shelby. She left me" he started to cry and I rolled my eyes at his pettiness.
"Why did she leave you?" I asked him, hoping to dig deeper into his pain.
"..drugs, lotta of them. She walked in on me doing Coke, she left" he sniffled. I slightly tilted my head at the sight of him.
"You got a girl?" He asked me, looking into my eyes.
"Ah yes. Grace is her name." I informed him. I pulled a chair out from the corner and I placed it in front of the man. I sat down and crossed my legs.
"She really is a fallen angel. I see how other people look at her... will, Kai, some visitors and Elizabeth. She's from a life of pain and misery. She built upon it and built one of the largest fashion companies, supernova. It still hurts me to this very second, that she's stuck here for eternity because of the countess" I told my tale to the man, who was soon to die.
"She sounds hot" he simply said. I raised an eyebrow at him.
"Hot? She's magnificent!" I stood up from my chair and chugged the rest of my vodka - this time showing a reaction. "She can talk all my fellow friends, like John and Jeffery. Everyone loves her in the hotel, she's a beacon of hope you could say. Oh and how she does her kills, it's really... hot is the term you said?" I placed my glass back on the bar and walked back over to the man.
"Yeah, and she also sounds kinda crazy man" he leaned back a little, scared for my reaction.
"Not crazy. Her actions are justifiable" I raised my finger up in the air.
"Whatever man" he said. I looked around the room
For anything to use to kill him with. I picked up my mask and I put it, the man seemed a little startled.
"Do you have a photo of Grace?" He asked me as I searched the room.
"Do you have a phone?" I asked him. He chuckled.
"I'm a hobo, man!" He reminded me.
"Ah yes." I remembered. I walked over To my blazer and I pulled out Grace's phone that she forgot she left me with. She didn't have a password on her phone which was strange and I saw she had already texted her friends about the event tomorrow. She's always one step ahead. I went onto her photos and I saw a gorgeous photo that we took up at the bar on the runway.
"Here she is" I showed him the photo of her and his jaw slightly dropped.
"Goddamn" he murmured.
"Yes yes, quite a dime" I put her phone away and I walked into the bathroom. I saw the mirror had been smashed so I picked up a glass shard.
"Does Grace know what you're doing down 'ere?" He asked me, watching me walking over to him with a glass shard.
"No... but she is aware of my murders" I dived the glass shard into his head. He had a thick skull so I rammed it in even faster and it shot in. His eyes rolled up then he fall backwards onto the bed.
"Oh Ms Evers!" I shouted as I whipped out a cloth. I wiped my hands and removed my mask. Hazel hurried in with some cleaned sheets.
"Oh goodness, his stench really is revolting" she gasped, pinching her nostrils closed.
"H'Yes" I picked up my belongings and left the room.
