I woke up serious pain. My head clashed and it felt like my brain was being eaten away by millions of small bugs. I grunted as I opened one eye to see I was in a dark room. I was sat on the floor with my back pressed against the stone cold wall. I slowly stood up and I walked out to see the hallways were dark and dirty. There was no exit or entrance. I ran to the walls and began to bang on it and I screamed.
"SOMEONE! HELP PLEASE, PLEASE HELP! SOMEBODY!" I cried as I kicked and hit.
"They won't hear you"
I swung my head around and I saw Kai standing there. He seemed dirty and beaten. I pressed my back against the wall so I could be as far away from him as possible.
"You gotta be kidding me..." I murmured. He scoffed and looked down to the floor.
"I just want to say sorry... for everything. Being in here helped me reflect on my actions" he looked around himself as he talked. It's all an act. I slowly sat down on the floor with my back pressed against the brick wall still.
"How long is it going to be until someone finds us?" I asked, ruffling my hair up. I already felt dirt beginning to sink into my clothes and even seep into my soul.
"Uhh.. hello? They built is in" Kai chuckled as he pointed at the wall I'm leaning on. I turned around and stared at the red brick walls. I covered my hands as I screamed.
"FUCK!"
"Okay, let it out your system already" Kai sighed as he crossed his arms and looked about.
"FUCK FUCK FUCK! I mean, I'm only 28! I haven't even fully lived yet! I haven't done everything I've wanted! I haven't told Taylor and everyone else I'm sorry! Fuckkkkkkk, my family!" I kicked off.

It's been two days. I've lost hope, fully. I've let the dirt sink into my clothes - and my soul. Kai has tried to civilise things but I know how long he can keep his acts up. I was swallowing my own saliva for hydration but it wasn't working.

Another two days. I'm dying, I haven't had water and the human body can only last ever so long without water. I was laying on the floor in a room, on deaths door.
Bang
Bang
Bang
There was a sudden ray of light that hit the hallways. My eyes were losing vision and I felt myself slipping. There was many footsteps running in and I heard
"Grace! Oh my goodness!"
I was too hazy and weak to realise who it was. Whoever it was, they picked me up in bridal style and ran out wherever I was stuck in. There was too many voices going on around me I couldn't focus on one.
"Someone get Alex!"
They laid me out on the bed and I finally saw who it was - James - it wasn't much of a surprise. He stroked my forehead and leaned in close to my face.
"Do not close them eyes! Do not" he demanded. The background was hazy and I couldn't exactly tell what he was saying. I saw a woman with blonde hair rush in, she had a messy bun on and looked like she was dressed for a funeral.

It all went black.

I woke up feeling reborn. I felt my forehead and I wiped off sweat. I slowly sat up and I felt a hand on top of mine. I looked to my side and I saw James was sat on a chair, placed beside the bed. He was resting his sleepy head on the bed and he was slightly snoring. I looked around the room and I saw my suit cases were placed back into my bedroom and I looked at my outfit. I had a new pair of pants on, grey joggers and I realised I was in a hoodie and I had nothing underneath. I felt my face flush red from the idea of someone seeing me naked. James seemed a little rough too. He hadn't gelled his hair so it was all dry and it was pretty cute. He didn't have his suspenders on and he had his top button undone. I didn't know if I should wake him up but he suddenly mumbled and slowly raised his head up. I looked at him while smiling. He looked down at my hand at first then up at me and his face just up.
"Oh Grace!" He wrapped his arms around me and slowly rocked me. I chuckled as I held him close to me.

He slowly let go of me and he kissed me so passionately I thought I was going to lose breath.
"I was considering you wouldn't wake up!" He laughed, in comfort I was awake. He cupped my two cheeks and stroked my cheek with his thumb while looking at my face.
"I'm afraid I must tell you the bad news" James sighed. I felt goosebumps develop and my hair stick up. I sat up properly and adjusted my posture.
"I'm afraid... you was too far gone"
I just froze and pulled a confused look. I pulled away from him.
"What? No" I got off the bed and tried to gather my thoughts.
"We tried, Grace" James walked over and placed a hand on my shoulder.
"But-but you said you got help and.... where's my body?" I asked, looking at James. He opened his mouth but seem tongue tied.
"That would be absurd to present it you" James protested. I shook my head at him.
"Show me" I begged. James shook his head at me.
"James!"
"No!"
Suddenly, the doors slowly opened and Liz entered. She covered her mouth at the sight of me.
"Oh my god" her voice was muffled from her palms pressed against her lips.
"Oh my sweet!" She walked over to me and held her arms out. I hugged her back. James just stood there feeling awkward. He put his hands on his hips and looked down. Liz cupped my cheeks as she looked at me.
"Did James tell you?" She asked me. I nodded my head slowly and I pulled away from her touch. I wiped my nose as I felt tears build.
"I want to see my body!" I exclaimed. James and Liz looked at each other. They both looked back at me and protested, saying no at the same time. Sally entered the room and she leaned on the door.
"Let her see it for pity's sake!" She scoffed as she took in a breath of smoke. "What's the worst that can happen? She becomes mentally ill? Ha, she's dead. She can't kill herself or something" Sally reminded them. I looked back at James and Liz and their shoulders slummed. James held his hand out to me and I took it. He squeezed in it as he lead me out the room. He hurried down the hallway and we got into the room with the chute. He walked over to the trolley and he held the fabric that was separating me from the truth.
"You can back away if you want-"
"Show me James"
He hesitantly removed the sheets from me and I saw me... my body.

My skin was grey and dirty. I had my shorts and over sized shirt on still. My hair was dirty and I was obviously dehydrated. I covered my mouth and stepped back. James covered me back up again and he walked over to me.
"Once you passed, we cleaned you up and changed you out your dirty robes. We waited for you to wake up to tell us what to do with your body" James put his hand on my arm for comfort but everything and everyone right now was just a curse to me currently.
"Just throw it away" I wafted my hand in the air and I got out his grip.
"What?"
"Just throw it down the chute"
James walked over to the trolley and I opened the chute. The smell didn't bother me anymore. James looked at me and I nodded my head. He threw my body down the chute. My body falling made a god awful noise and it made me jump a little. He then threw down some dust for me to decompose quicker. I closed my eyes and I crossed my arms. I felt James wrap his arms around me and all I wanted in this moment of time - was to just leave. I hesitantly hugged James back.
"I'm so sorry darling. I tried to protect you.." James whispered to me. I shook my head at him.
"It was the countess" I informed me. He pulled away from my hug and he looked at me, raising an eyebrow and his jaw opened.
"She caught me... and she threw me in there with Kai"
