Today, Zach wasn't at work, or the day before, or the day before that. I think it's cause of me. I am such an idiot. I wanted to die. I can't believe myself. Maybe if I just curl up in a hall it'll all go away.

"Allie!" Kat called out as I was walking down the hall.

"Yeah?" I asked.

"Are you okay?"

"No! I blew it! It's all my fault!"

"What is?."

"I blew it with Zach! He told me he loves me and I didn't say it back and it's too late!"

"You what? That's it. I'm taking you out tonight with me and the gang. You're going crazy. I'll text you."

"I...okay.."

Today I got home and saw my mom sitting there cheerfully.

"Hey mom!" I said.

"Oh! Hi Allie! How was your day?"

"Good.." I lied.

"That's great!"

"Mom?"

"Yeah?"

"Some friends from the hospital invited me for a dinner tonight." I lied again. "Can I go?"

"Umm.. well if their from the hospital I'm sure their responsible so sure!"

"Yay! Thanks Mom!"

"Your welcome! Just stay safe!"

"Got it! Thanks!"

I went into my room and texted Kat. I also texted Zach. I've texted him for the past few days apologizing but he's always just left me on read. I zoomed in on his profile picture. It was a picture of him at the beach with his friends and he was looking perfect.

I decided to just close the chat and talk to Kat. I couldn't go down that road.

"Where are we going?" I asked.

"Idk. Meet me by the hospital in 30m!"

"K"

I put on my skinny jeans and my tight red cami top. On top, I put on a cardigan. My mom would definitely not let me wear this shirt out! I did my makeup, curled my hair and left. This would be good for me. Maybe I can get over him.

I saw Kat and the crew there near the hospital.

"Hey guys!" I said.

"Hey." Kat replied.

"So, where are we going?" I asked.

"You'll see..." Kat replied as she lead me to the car. I was a bit skeptical. I missed Zach! Why didn't I say the truth! Summer's a knife!

*SO SORRY FOR THE SHORT CHAPTER I JUST DONT THINK I CAN ADD ANYTHING ELSE LOL*
