"this feels so... odd? i haven't been up here in awhile," you said softly with a smile, "i mean not to brag or anythinggg but last time i was here cedric literally proposed to me."
"wasn't that for the yule ball?" cho chuckled, "he told me you tried to 'divorce' him before he got the chance to finish."
"ha yeah," you said embarrassed, hiding your head in your folded arms as the two of you leaned against the railing of the astronomy tower, cho's quiet laughter in your ears.
"i didn't know cedric talked about me?" you groaned, "you probably think i'm weird as hell from the things he's told you."
cho shook her head tucking the loose black strands of her hair behind her ear as she coughed awkwardly. "i don't think that at all," she admitted.
"i mean sure, ced did tell me a few things that sounded kind of odd but it wasn't anything tooo bad. it makes me wish i got to knew you last year before all of this," cho finished.
"before voldemort decided it was time to be an even bigger asshole and ruin all our lives?" you smirked, "yeah... same."
the ravenclaw nodded, the two of you watching the late afternoon environment, students still living their lives down below.
you spotted the golden trio all sat on the stone structure in the courtyard, harry's hands waving around as he ranted about whatever was on his mind.
he calmed for a moment. then you noticed ron looking around before pointing up to you and chang.
"cho, we have fans."
she followed where you pointed seeing ron and hermione wave as harry looked away. cho waved back awkwardly as you scoffed at potter's actions and pulled out your wand.
"y/n, murder is never the answer-"
"aqua eructo!"
cho's concerns immediately disappeared when she saw you send a powerful jet of cold water towards harry (and ultimately spaying on the innocent hermione and ron) the two of you erupting into violent laughter when they all flipped you off from below.
