Leila's Pov.  

"Run.”  

I looked at the monster in front of me. It looked like Cian but it had fangs and its eyes were dilated and black. I took a step back. I glanced at the bird thing on the ground. It looked like Blade. But it had big black wings coming from the back. My eyes widen in realization that the monsters were Blade and Cian. Hesitantly, I reached out to Cian. I touched his fangs and jumped back when I found out they were real. For a moment, Cian's green eyes came back and he looked at me with worry. 

"Leila, please, run. Run away, from me, from this,” Cian said motioning to him and Blade, who was struggling to get up. I gasped when Blade flew up and slammed Cian into the ground. 

"Don't speak to her, you little leech," Blade growled. Instantly, Cian’s black eyes came back and he made his hands into claws. He grabbed Blade's wings and started to rip the feathers out. I stepped back twice when I saw blood on Cian's fingers. Cian looked at me one last time, mouthing the word "run.” I turned around and ran for the forest. I kept running until my legs felt like Jell-O. I fell to the forest floor, crying. (Author's note: If you say one word about this being like twilight... I WILL KILL YOU). I curled into a ball, bringing my legs to my chest. After awhile, I heard noises. I glanced up to see a beautiful man and a tiny girl. The girl had blond hair and red eyes, probably because of contacts. The man had blue eyes and brown hair. 

"This one looks good," the girl giggled. The man continued to stare at me. I stood up and looked at them. 

"Who are you?" I asked softly. The man cleared his throat. 

"My name is Chad and this," he motioned towards the girl. "Is Lissa". 

"Hi!" Lissa said energetically. I gave her a half-wave. Chad stepped forward and grabbed my shoulders. I tried to get away but he had a firm grip.  

"W-What are you doing?" I asked, looking around. 

"Shh," Chad said. I looked to see Lissa had disappeared. Chad leaned in and kissed my neck. I gasped. I felt his hot breath on my neck, when he opened his mouth wide. 

"STOP!" Someone yelled from behind me. Chad pulled up his head and I saw that he had long fangs sprouting from his mouth. I gasped again. He didn't hear me ‘cause he was focused on the person behind me.  

"What are you doing Cian?" Chad asked. I heard a rustle of leaves and instantly Cian was next to me. 

"Don't bite her." 

"Why," Chad asked his furious. 

"I love her.” I blushed at the word love coming from Cian's mouth. Chad let go of me and it was unexpected so I fell to the floor. Before I hit the ground, I felt strong arms around my waist pulling me up. Cian. I felt like a rag doll being passed around from sibling to sibling. Cian pulled me close and glared at Chad. 

"You're in love? With a human? You have swooped low, brother. To low for my standards," Chad said coldly. He turned away and started to walk the other way.

"I'm in love with her and I know it," Cian called after him. The drama of the day slowly caught up with me and I felt exhausted. I slumped in Cian arms. He pulled me up and realized I was practically sleeping in his arms. I felt his other arm slip around my calves and I realized he was carrying me. Where to though? I closed my eyes and let the darkness of sleep consume my mind.
