To Catch a Ladybug

Chapter 13

Luka's POV
I wake up in a small dark room. No one else is around and I don't have much room to move. Wait, if I'm here what happened to Mari? I hope she's ok. Please let her be ok. I slowly sit up and hit my head on something. Well damn, that hurt. Looking up I see a shelf. Am I in a fucking storage closet?! I get kidnapped and shoved in a closet. Why? Like seriously, why kidnap me if you're just gonna shove me in a stupid closet? What's the point? There's absolutely nothing to gain.

After what seemed like hours in the cramped space a door opened. A person grabbed me and started to drag me away. Once we were in a hallway I kick them and break free. It's some guy I've never met before. He probably works for Lilith. I grab him and glare. "Where is Marinette?" I ask quickly. He points down the hall at a door. I throw him to the ground and run. It doesn't take long for me to get to the door. Please be safe Mari. I'm coming to get you. I open the door and walk in.

Marinette's POV
I can't help but cry. In front of me are Nino and Alya. Both of them bruised and bleeding. I hear a door open and someone walk over. "Mari are you ok?" It's Luka's voice. I don't move. He was over and gasps. "We have to get them to a hospital." He says quickly. I nod and gently pick up Alya. He picks up Nino and leads me out the door. After a few minutes we make it out of the building. When we get outside I frown. We definitely aren't in Paris anymore.

It looks like there's nothing around. Where do we go? How do we get back to Paris? "Mari. Someone's coming." Luka whispers from beside me. I look around and see a small patch of trees. "We'll climb a tree and hide there." I whisper, walking in that direction. After a short struggle we manage to get the still unconscious couple into the tree and climb in ourselves. And just in time. A car pulls up and Lilith steps out. Shortly after I see two small figures fly through the car door. Tikki and Plagg must've followed her here to find us.

Shit, how am I going to get the kwamis' attention? Think Marinette, think...I have no idea. If I throw a branch it might get their attention. I grab a small stick and throw it towards them. Like I hoped it got their attention. But Lilith also heard it. Please don't see us. Thankfully she keeps walking towards the building. Once she's gone Tikki and Plagg fly towards us. "Tikki. Up here." I call out softly. She hears me and flies up. "Come on, lets get out of here." Luka says quietly. I nod and follow the kwamis back towards Paris.

After a few hours of walking we take a break. Nino and Alya are still out cold and it's making me really worried. We need to get them to a hospital soon. Which means no more breaks. With a sigh I pick up Alya and start walking again. I hope we get there soon, otherwise they might not make it. I can't let them die. We're going to make it, we have to.
