To Catch a Ladybug

Chapter 15

Marinette's POV
Luka jumps through the window, scaring Lila. The two glare at each other until they're interrupted by the sound of someone unlocking the door. A few seconds later Lilith walks in. Damn. Looks like we'll have to fight them both. At least we should be able to get the miraculous back. With that thought I smile to myself. Lilith looks between Luka and I in confusion. "The fuck are they doing here?" She asks Lila, sounding annoyed. "We're here to get something that was stolen." I reply before Lila can. And with that we attack the unsuspecting bitch.

My fist connects with Lilith's nose and I hear a satisfying crack. She falls to the ground when Luka kicks her feet out from under her. "If you'd kindly return the stolen miraculous." I say with mock sweetness. She glares and tries to get up, failing as I hold her down. "Luka get Lila before she makes it out the door." I say, causing the fleeing Lila to freeze. Soon they're both trapped on the ground. "Just give us the miraculous already." I sigh, extremely bored. Lilith doesn't do anything so I let out another sigh. This is so annoying.

After a few minutes I find the miraculous hidden away in Lilith's jacket. Next I go to Lila and she hands hers over immediately. I give them to Tikki and let out a sigh of relief. This whole thing is finally over. Now I just have to deal with these two. I know! Master Fu gave me the decoded recipes for all kinds of stuff. Including a pill that erases memories. "Let's bring them back to our apartment." I tell Luka quickly. He gives me a questioning look as he leads Lila away. I follow behind him, dragging Lilith along.

When we finally get to our apartment I leave Lilith and Lila on the couch with Luka watching them. Closing the door I start working on creating the pills. It took less time than I thought it would, especially since I have all of Master Fu's ingredients that were left. Walking out of the room I approach the girls. "You have a choice. Go to jail or forget everything that happened." I say to them. Holding out the pills I let them choose. Lila immediately grabs the pill. Lilith seems to think it over before grabbing the pill as well.

I wake up the next morning with a smile. Now that Lilith and Lila don't remember anything and the miraculous are back where they belong, life is going to go back to normal. Luka and I will still protect the city, but we shouldn't have to deal with akumas ever again. And I couldn't be happier about it. I'll finally get a chance to go on a date with him again. Alya and Nino are going to have a baby who'll grow up in a safer city. And who knows, maybe Luka and I will have a kid some day.

Two and a half months later I get a call from Alya. The baby is finally here! As of today, Ava has joined the world! And she's the cutest baby ever! The world just got a little bit better.
