"A party?" I gaped, my face paling as I looked from Ryder to Blake. "Yes, and your going." Blake instructed, flipping through the channels on the Tv. I nodded hesitantly, I knew I needed to get out of my comfort zone, and do what normal teenagers do.

"Is it a costume party?" I asked tentatively, I didn't want to dress up as something sexy. That meant I had to show skin, and then people would see all of my bruises and scars. I didn't want that to happen. Some girls would jump at the chance to wear something slutty, or revealing. I didn't want that kind of attention though, I don't think I ever will.

"Yeah, Ryder and I are just wearing jerseys though." He told me, stuffing a sandwich in his mouth. Ryder rolled his eyes, probably not wanting me to go in the first place. That made me want to go even more, I rushed upstairs and rummaged around the closet trying to find the perfect outfit.

I found an oversized white shirt, that resembled a pirates. A bandana to go over my head, and some leathery tight black pants to wear. I pulled open a drawer and also noticed lots of jewelry. I swept out of my room, and walked down the hall into Ryders room.

I turned into his bathroom, making sure he wasn't here first. I pulled open the sink cabinet, and took out the black hair dye. I always knew that his hair was fake, I scoffed. I returned to my room, getting everything ready for me to dye my hair.

An hour and a half later I walked out of the bathroom with new and improved hair. The brown was now replaced by a raven black, and I thought it was absolutely beautiful. I made my way to the living room, flicking my hair.

"I have to say, this is some really good hair dye Ryder." I complimented him, clapping my hands. His nose flared, and his eyes twitched as he looked from my face to my hair. Andrew looked from me to Ryder, and sunk in his seat. He seemed scared.

"Oh you little-" He started, as he stood up quickly. My eyes widened, I didn't think he was actually going to be that mad. He stalked over to me slowly, reminding me of Zach. I held my ground though, I pretended I wasn't extremely scared.

"Get ready!" Blake called from up the stairs, Ryder and I's eyes flicked over to Blake who was walking down the stairs, "Oh, nice hair. That suits you." Blake told me, smiling a bit. "Thank you, Ryder here doesn't seem to like it though." I pouted, crossing my arms. "Ryder, knock it off. We all knew your hair was fake." Blake rolled his eyes, slipping on his Jersey.

I held back a chuckle, and Ryder grunted and walked up the stairs to his room. I was about to start heading to my room but Andrew pulled me back. I looked at him questionably. "Please don't make Ryder mad. He can be scary, you don't want to get on his bad side." He warned me, looking at me seriously for the first time.

I scoffed and pushed him off of me. "I've dealt with worse." Is what came out of my mouth, I mentally groaned at that. Why would I say that? "I have to get ready for the party. Are you going?" I asked, moving on from the subject. He nodded, and I didn't waste anymore time as I walked up to my room to get ready.

I threw on the shirt, pants, bandana, and the excessive amount of necklaces and hopped into Andrews car. Ryder, Blake, Andrew, and Finn were all going to the party. Benji decided to skip out since these kind of things weren't his scenery. Maybe I should've just stayed home with him instead.

It was too late now though, we were already parked outside of the house, and they were all getting out of the car. I swallowed the lump in my throat, and got out too. My heart raced as I opened up the door, as Finn pulled me aside. "Your sticking with me the whole night, understood? I don't want you getting hurt.." He mumbled the last part, gazing around the room with drunk teenagers.

I nodded, there was no need to protest since I wasn't too keen on the idea of staying by myself either. I walked with Finn, where he found some of his school friends. They did that weird bro hug, handshake clap thing. One of them abruptly turned to me, "Yo, who's this chic?" He asked, I held back my glare so I wouldn't do anything that Finn would be mad at me for. "My friend, she'll be hanging with us tonight." He said, pulling me into his side protectively.
