"This was all a Fanalis is capable of?",Shigaraki questioned as he kicked as hawks wings who recoiled in pain

"Songbird I'm fine",he barely managed to say as he burst into a coughing fit,"Midnight sent us help they're fighting too so don't give up."

"You-",your body tembled in anger but you forced yourself to remain where you were

"Don't worry I plan to make yours quick and painless",he lunged

You stood up awaiting him but just as he closed in on you, light exploded everywhere. As he stepped onto the scribbled symbol on the floor, a trap. His gaze landed on you and amusement flickered across his face seocnds before the core barrier entrapped him inside.

You stood at the sides, focusing your mana and energy onto it, faltering would result in a major explosion and a loss. His mana fought against yours working away at the barrier you built. Sweat was beginning to form but now wasnt to time as shadow like figures began emerging from the barrier, all dead souls gathered by him. Taking in a sharp breath, you held your palm put and a bright white light began to illuminate from it.

Heavens breath, it helped in dispersing lost souls or guiding them. Right now this was taking a toll as blood leaked from the corner of your mouth. It needed more, your eyes wandered towards Keigo's body and you knew what needed to be done. Footsteps could be heard approaching you turned, Aizawa, Midoriya, todoroki were all running towards you.

"Captain",Midoriya called out,"Please we can help."

"(Y/n)",Todoroki began but stopped as his eyes met yours,"Please.."

Anguish, fear, panick were all shown on their faces. A tear silently rolled down your face as they stopped mere feet away from you. Aizawas usual monotone face was filled with fear, his eyes wavered between you and the giant collumn of light. Midoriya's usual bright face was pale and Shoto oh poor Shoto.

"You're the leader",you smiled softly at them as you stepped away but not before turning,"don't cause trouble while I'm gone."

They offered a meek smile but it soon vanished once your body had been covered in the light.

"What a hero",Shigarakis voice greeted you

You smiled softly as you offered your hand,"We've both done to much harm here old friend let's go,"and for the first time his eyes softened and the old young Shigaraki greeted you as you both joined mana

They watched in silent hopefulness when suddenly it began growing, they held up their weapons prepared for the explosion but none came. As the light engulfed everything and disappeared, once it cleared up they stared down in disbelief their wounds and any signs of a war had disappeared.

Everyone had gathered, denki, Ururaka, Jirou, Shoji and even Tokoyami. They wore smiles and relief on their faces, they'd won but stopped. Sero and denki were helping Kirishima and Bakugou who were still injured as the light had failed to reach them. Ururaka brought a hand to her mouth to stop a scream but it was to late as the others witnessed what she had seen.

Hawks who'd been impaled was seen kneeling down staring in disbelief at his body. He stood up to share the news with you but froze as he stared at what the others were looking at.

Your body fell to the ground, the warmth of life stolen by the cold embrace of death. The impact of your limp, lifeless body was synced with the wails of your friends, who were watching closely, hoping for a different outcome.

Hawks sprinted over, forgetting the fatigue in his swaying legs from the ongoing battle, desperate to find any remaining flickers of life in your body, but was met with cold silence.
