I knew it

bucks pov 

I open my eyes and feel eddies warm arms wrapped around me. I just shut my eyes and breath in

 "I like waking up like this" I hear from behind me I turn round and smile at him 

"im gonna make breakfast"he says getting out of bed completely naked 

"with no clothes" I say smirking he nods I wrap a towel round my waist and head downstairs when I walk into the kitchen eddies stood with a apron on and nothing else. I watch his ass as he cooks the bacon with his back to me. when we hear a knock at the door we both panic .I open it watching Eddie run around me to hide I let out a giggle 

"hey buck" Maddie says walking past me

" no no" I say as she turns round me in a towel and him in a apron

" I knew it" she says grinning 

"go on go put clothes on the both of you" she says I run upstairs and Eddie follows 

"nice ass" Maddie shouts I turn round 

"hands off" I shout before running upstairs I took my towel off and started getting changed when I feel a warm body press up against me he kisses my neck

" I like this" I mumble before turning round our lips crash together he picked me up and slammed me down on the bed. when we finally finish getting ready and walk downstairs a few boxes are in the lounge area and Maddie is sat drinking coffee 

"you two took your time" she laughs

" we got busy" Eddie mumbles I just grin

"I bet you did" she says rolling her eyes 

"these are your things from your apartment I handed the keys in and your officially moved out" she said smiling 

" thanks mads". I say giving her a hug 

"as long as your happy" she says smiling I nod as she walked out and went out the door. I grabbed eddies hand 

"I do love you baby" I say looking at him 

"I love you" he said kissing my cheek we spent the whole day unpacking and getting me all settled in once we was settled in we decided to have a early night and go to bed we cuddled up for a bit before I drifted of to sleep.

The alarm rings loudly 

"7am already" I groan as Eddie rolls over me 

"morning" he grumbles as he crushes me 

"morning" I say rolling him back off me 

"dudeee I was comfy" he groans rolling back on this time with his face in mine

" this is better" I grinned before kissing him we both got ready side by side when we walked into the firehouse I went straight to caps office. he questioned me on my mental health I did a quick mental exam and went to the kitchen area. I sat next to Eddie on the couch 

"you ok buck a roo" I hear from behind us i turned round 

"chim" I say 

"glad your back bro" he says hugging me when the bell rang we all jumped up and ran to the trucks . the call was only a small one when we got back I held back in the truck until it was just me and Eddie in there I flipped him under me

"I love firefighters" I say in between kisses he moves to my neck and starts sucking which makes me make a muffled moan into his shoulder were pulled back into the real world when I hear footsteps we jump up and Eddie springs out the truck 

"Eddie I wondered where you had gone" hen says 

"ohh" she says as I climb out behind him

"pull your shirt up you have something on your neck she says laughing I tug my shirt as far up as I could as soon as we reach the kitchen the bell rings 

"seriously" I groan when we got in the trucks we all started putting our gear on. I watched Eddie closely hes so cute we jumped out and and bobby gave us orders 

"ok I want buck and Eddie u two inside stay alert the shooter hasn't been spotted and may have ran but we are unsure" I just nod and run in Eddie closely following. I see a room of hostages

" hey" I say hitting eddies arm no shooter in sight we pass the children over to the swat team and continue down the corridors 

"stop" I hear from behind it was a deep voice me and Eddie slowly turn round a gun pointed at my head I slowly put my hands up 

"which one of you wants to die today" Partner in crime - Partner in crime -  I glance at Eddie who's tears are already in his eyes

eddies pov 

 I see buck about to speak 

"me" I say as the gun is moved from my head and a shot fired into bucks chest buck I cry and the shooter ran away down the corridor. I radio and lay ontop of him 

"baby baby no" I shout I kiss him as cap rushes towards us .He didnt know we was together so I leant back a little as buck  gained a little bit of consciousness .

"Hes awake" bobby says I lean over him he puts one hand on my face and a tear falls from his eye 

"I love you" I whisper 

"I love you more remberr that" he says before his eyes shut again . He is loaded into the ambulance and taken away . I jump in the back of the truck I throw my helmet off and let tears roll out my eyes. Hen jumps in and holds me I didnt even realise my crys where more like sobs 

"buck" I mumbled hes at the hospital now were all going after shift bobby let u off shift early Athena is going to take you there now. I jump out and sit in Athenas car it was a silent drive to the hospital.

Bobbys pov

"he said I love you did you guys know they was together" I say looking at hen and chim 

"I thought they was both straight" chim says tilting his head

" I may have knew" hen says 

"you did" I almost shout

" sorry cap they told me not say anything" she says I nod 

"I kind of saw it coming" I said before laughing chim is still stood there with a confused look on his face. we took the fire truck back to the station we all got into my car and headed to the hospital
