    After finally completing the Maze Trials, Ari, Minho and the surviving Gladers have escaped WICKED. 
    
    Or so they thought. 
    
    Discovering they're still trapped in WICKED's horrific experiments, the Gladers have to rely on one another and their wits to survive the next round of tests: the Scorch Trials. Dumped in the desolate wasteland and given an impossible task to complete, they battle Cranks and the elements in a perilous journey.
