Vanessa Miller is a 17 year old American student who went on a trip to Italy as a foreign exchange student with one of her best friends. She's a head strong young woman with a sassy attitude. When she finds herself in trouble and is saved by a mystery man she can't seem to stop thinking about him.

Greyson King is a 22 year old Mafia Don. Known as the Triste Mietitore (Grim Reaper). He's ruthless and never wants anything to do with relationships, just quick one night stands. But when he comes across a young American in need of saving something snaps in him. After rescuing her he can't get her out of his head.
