First off, congratulations to the ONC authors who won in round one! And for those who managed to finish 8k words for round 2, congrats to you too! I'm rooting for you to get to the 20k mark by the end of April.
That being said, This Is Our Downfall's chapter releases will resume tomorrow. Updates will come out throughout the next two weeks to fit the ONC deadline. I'm going to catch up on the reading list in the same time frame too.

Sorry for the lack of updates this Monday. I was finishing up another offline project this week and only found time to work on chapter 9 this afternoon. It's up now, though, and it contains the 'big revelation' that'll shake Nihina to her core. Thank you so much for your support!
By the way, the trailer for Dreamwork's Forgotten Island just came out, and it looks so colorful. I would love it if you can support this film too. It's based on Filipino culture and mythology, subjects that I'm obviously very proud of.

I'm finding it easier to write these shorter chapters, by the way. They don't take as much time to finish, which means more hours and energy for doing chores around the house. And they give me more chances to end scenes at high-tension moments or cliffhangers.
