Another ONC has finished for the year, at least, the writing part!
I understand they have 347 completed entries for Round 3. Congratulations everyone!!

Only a few days left to submit for this year's ONC Round 3. So far, I found 146 which are tagged #Onc2025 and are Complete. I'm sure a lot of writers have their heads down, churning out those final chapters! I finished earlier than usual this year, so I'm trying to catch up on reading some of the other entries. Those who've supported me first, and then I'll tackle some of the others! So many good stories! :)

I submitted my ONC story for Round 3, yay!
Last year, I think my story got a bit complicated and possibly contradictory as I tried to weave my way through time travel, so this year I tried to keep it simpler. With some twists of course, but moral ones rather than scifi tech...

I like writing about 1K words per chapter for the ONC so this one has been divided into two. Lets see how it works out, publishing two at the same time. Only 2 more to go after these ones - I'd love to get the story finished before Easter!

@elveloy Here I am writing 3K because my second chapter was 3K and now I can’t go back to writing anything under 3k. My first chapter was 2K because round 1 asked to write 2K words.

@elveloy Congratulations to you! Mine says I hit 118 on the ONC list, but when I opened it, it wasn't. Perhaps the algorithms messed mine up again. *smiles" Doesn't matter, just that I get this ONC done and hopefully maybe publish it. I don't know it's all in the bubble. I say that all the time for my novels. I just get scared to take that first step.
