Hayami L/n was alone in the hospital, laying on the bed. Her husband, Minori L/n, couldn't make it to the birth for some reason or the other. At this point, it didn't bother her, in fact, she was quite happy he wasn't here to ruin the moment. Nevertheless, she loved her husband, and sometimes you have to sacrifice for love.

She carefully cradled the small children in her arms.

"They're beautiful", she murmured while still mesmerized how something so could be so small, so fragile, and yet so perfect, like flowers. They were beautiful, absolute perfection.

"What to name them?"

She wondered for a moment for the perfect names until she finally stumbled upon them.

"Y/n, Y/n L/n and Aoi L/n"

-About 5 years later-

"Y/n! Y/n! Let's play another round! I wanna be a hero!"

"But Aoi, you were the hero last time! It's not fair!"

"I'm the oldest so I make the rules!"

"You're only the oldest but like a minute or something, and you were the hero last time!"

You and your twin sister, Aoi, were now 5 years old. You and your sister don't have many friends, but thats okay, you don't like playing with other people anyway. Your father was being mean again, so your mother sent you and your sister out to play. When your father was being mean your mother always tried to get you out of the house, it usually didn't work. Regardless, you still played with blissful ignorance, because all that was normal.

"Well, I should be the hero because I already have my quirk and you don't! You can't be a hero without a quirk!"

Your sister and your mother shared the same quirk. It was the ability to control plants, through the roots. You weren't sure exactly what your fathers quirk was but you thought it was blood manipulation.

You crossed your arms and pouted. "Aoi, that's not fair!" You whined. She stuck her tongue out at you in response.

There were tears forming in your big, bright eyes. Most people had their quirks by now, you were one of the few kids that didn't. More than a few times, kids have bullied you because of that. It made you mad. It wasn't fair. Why did other kids already have such cool quirks? Why did everyone had to rub it in?

Before you knew it, your h/l, h/c hair was floating above your head and your once twinkling e/c orbs had lost all of their shine, they were now a endless void of deep crimson red.

Everyone around you had collapsed.
