You cracked open the door to class 1-A. You immediately heard a the chatter of a few students talking. Thankfully, not too many people were here.
Wanting to avoid any social interaction, you immediately headed for a seat in the back left corner, next to the window, not caring enough to even spare a second glance at your classmates. Because of your quirk, you didn't need your eyes to recognize your fellow classmate. You had chugged multiple coffees this mourning in a failed attempt to be fully awake. You put your head on the desk. It was all so loud. You doubted you could sleep, but you could try. At the very least, it would prevent other students from talking to you.
From the less than a second that you surveyed your new classroom and your quirk you could figure out some things. There was a blue haired boy, he was a stickler, with engines in his calves. He was scolding a very angry spiky haired blond. He reminded you of a Pomeranian, but you already knew that he would kill you for calling him that. He had a emitter quirk. Near you there was 3 seemingly more introverted students. A student with a bird head. There was something different about his brain . . . Did he have dissociative identity disorder? Was that part of his quirk? You didn't care enough to investigate more. Then there was a stoic kid with a large burn scar on his face. Half of his hair was colored red while the other half was white. He had an emitter quirk, he was powerful. However, you could practically smell the trauma on him. Next, there was—
There was a pretty girl with black hair tied up in a messy ponytail, she was the one sitting next to you. She was currently standing over you, interrupting your thoughts. You could almost sense the determined look on her face.
"Excuse me, I am Momo Yaoyorozu. What's your name?"
You deigned to at least tilt your head up to look at her. Not caring in the least about manners, you gruffly responded "Y/n L/n", hoping she would take the hint and let you be.
For a moment, she was stunned by your bluntness, however she recovered shortly and continued the conversation.
"Well L/n, we're desk mates! I got in from recommendations. I hope we can be friends!"
Was she . . . trying to make you feel bad of something? You get that your not the most impressive person but did you really look that pathetic that she had to rub in how talented she was while you would probably get expelled in the first week?
"I don't need friends. Friends are a waste of time" Was your only response. You rested your now pounding head back on the desk.
'People really suck'
She looked astonished by your response. She had never been rejected like this before before. But she could expect to become friends immediately, if she kept trying, she was bound to eventually become your friend. It was just the beginning of the year, she had lots of time.
"Don't worry, I won't waste your time!" She replied with a smile, content with this brief conversation she returned to her seat.
You mentally facepalmed. You could practically feel the determined energy radiating off her. You rejection made it her personal goal to become friends with you.
Students kept filing in. Eventually a brunette and a kid with messy green hair walked in. He looked like broccoli. The Pomeranian stormed towards them and began to yell something. You just quietly listened in to the whole class until eventually, your home room teacher walked in. In a yellow sleeping bag.
