Scene 1:
The rest of the weekend in Kiandra went a bit better. Bree and Chase didn't fight anymore, and Eddie and Holly fell asleep together again. Sadly for Eddie, so far, Holly hasn't broken up with Russ. Meanwhile, Term 3 started, and the group has yet to be reunited again, due to a lot of tests and projects keeping them busy. Some months have passed. Right now, it's September, and Eddie has just woken up, put on his uniform, and is now having breakfast, ready to go to school. Gary and Judy are with him, but they're on their way out.
Gary: Bye, son.
Judy: Yeah, bye Landon.
Eddie: Bye, mom and dad.
[They leave. Suddenly, Noah comes downstairs, seemingly in a hurry]
Eddie: Jeez, what's with all the speed?
Noah: (very nervously) Eat quickly! C'mon, we gotta go!
Eddie: Where? Have you forgotten that I have school?
Noah: You're not going to school today.
Eddie: What do you mean, I'm not going to school? What's going on?
Noah: Saskia's water just broke. I'm having a baby!
Eddie: Wait, for real?
Noah: Yeah, I just got off the phone with her, she's at the hospital.
Eddie: Nice... I suppose I can skip school to go see my nephew being born.
Noah: Hurry up, let's go!
Eddie: Chill out, I'm almost done.
[Eddie quickly finishes his fairy bread, and the two get in the convertible, and storm out, on their way to the hospital. They get there, Noah parks the convertible, and the two of them run straight to the reception area]
Hospital Receptionist: What can I help you two gentlemen?
Noah: My wife. She's having a baby. Her name is Indy Blues.
Hospital Receptionist: Alright, let me look for her room.
[Noah was getting even more nervous]
Eddie: You okay, man?
Noah: Yeah.
Hospital Receptionist: Alright, your wife is on room 69, on the second floor.
Eddie: (laughs) 69... So many jokes to be made.
Noah: Now's not the time, let's go!
[They run to the second floor, and find the room. They open the door, and Saskia is lying on the hospital bed, ready to have a baby]
Noah: Oh my god, it's not out yet, is it?
Saskia: No!
Noah: So, how are you feeling?
Saskia: I'm having contractions, and it hurts so bad... Argh! I just had one right now.
[The doctor comes in]
Doctor: Hi, I'm assuming you're the father.
Noah: Yes, I am.
Doctor: Okay, I'm Doctor Winston... (looks at Eddie) I'm sorry young man, but only the father can be present.
Eddie: It's okay, I'll wait outside.
[Eddie leaves]
Noah: (way too nervous) So, when is it done? We gotta do this, c'mon!
Doctor: (checks Saskia) We only have 1 centimetre so far... This can take a while.
Noah: (still nervous) How? C'mon, we gotta get this done as quickly as possible.
