Scene 1:

It's been 3 months. Noah and Saskia have been taking turns, when it comes to taking care of little Corey. As for Eddie, he's had 3 stressful months, with tons of projects, tests, and exams. But right now, it's December. The Summer is practically there, and it's the last day of school. He's just woken up. He didn't have to put on his uniform, since last day of school is also casual day, and is having breakfast. Noah comes downstairs, with Corey.

Noah: Where's mom and dad?

Eddie: They already left to work.

Noah: Alright... I'm on my way out too, gotta take this big boy to Saskia's place.

Eddie: So you guys are gonna be doing that everytime? That's gotta be complicated.

Noah: And it is, but what can we do? We're no longer together.

[Eddie finishes breakfast, high fives his brother, and pets his nephew in the head. The baby smiles at him]

Noah: He likes you.

Eddie: Of course he likes me. There's quite nobody like uncle Eddie, ain't that right little Corey?... Well, I gotta go.

Noah: Me too... What are you so happy about?

Eddie: It's the last day of school.

Noah: Oh... How I miss that feeling. No more classes, no more tests. Just going to school in the Summer, without having to worry about anything.

Eddie: Yeah, it's great... See you guys.

[They both leave, and each goes on their way. Eddie is walking to school, alone, blasting "Nothing Natural" by Lush on his earphones. For some reason, he's feeling way happier than usual. When he finally gets to East Brissy, he runs into Leo. They high five, and begin walking to class]

Leo: Ready for the best day of the year?

Eddie: You bet.

Leo: How ironic, the last day of school is also one of the very few days, when we're actually happy about coming to school.

Eddie: It just has that atmosphere.

Leo: You look particularly happy. Any reason behind it?

Eddie: No. Can't pinpoint anything. But yeah, today hits different than most days. I'm more than happy. I'm on cloud 9. I'm feeling ethereal.

[Chase creeps up behind them]

Chase: Ethereal... Damn, someone is really feeling the summer.

Eddie: You bet.

Chase: I bet you're listening to pop punk through those earphones.

Eddie: Actually...(shows him the song he's listening to).

Chase: Bruh, that's different than the stuff you usually hear. What happened to pop punk from the early 2000's?

Eddie: I don't know... I don't even listen to this type of thing, but... It was one of the songs on Holly's "Guilty Pleasure" playlist, so yeah.

Leo: Holly? Man, that was so long ago.

Eddie: Yeah, whatever.

Chase: Leo's right... But let's not bother Landon, he's having one of those good days.

Eddie: Thank you, Chase.

[They enter the classroom, and take a seat. A lot of people were already there. Eddie and his friends high five a bunch of people. A few seconds later, Oliana and Abby show up]
