Scene 1:
It's been two weeks. Eddie kept hanging with the group, and it has been really fun. However, his feelings for Holly kept getting more and more intense. And everytime he sees her with Russ, it hurts even more. But right now, it's time for the annual edition of the School Wars. It also coincides with Eddie's birthday, which happens to be the exact same as his fake identity's birthday. He is now turning 14, and just got woken up by a screaming Noah, with a birthday hat and a megaphone.
Noah: (screaming into the megaphone) Happy birthday!
Eddie: (confused) What the fuck?
Noah: (with the megaphone) It's your birthday, remember?
Eddie: For fuck's sake, put that thing down.
Noah: Okay... So, ready to be the birthday boy once again?
Eddie: Ugh, I completely forgot. As of today, I'm 14.
Noah: Yeah, you are. Now c'mon, get up and let's have some birthday cake for breakfast.
[Eddie comes downstairs and the family sings him "Happy Birthday". He blows the candles, and then receives a bunch of stylish clothes as presents]
Eddie: Jeez, I didn't know this part happened right in the morning.
Judy: Normally, it doesn't. But, today is also the School Wars, so we might as well just do it now.
Gary: How cool is that? No classes on your birthday.
Eddie: Yeah, but I'm still gonna have to play footy.
Noah: But that's better than having classes, right?
Eddie: I guess.
Noah: So c'mon, let's have some birthday cake and I'll take you to school.
[They all have a few slices of the delicious birthday cake, and then Noah and Eddie hop on the convertible and go to school]
Noah: How does it feel to be 14?
Eddie: Pretty much the same as the previous 3 years.
Noah: Well, this year it's certainly a different birthday.
Eddie: Yeah, it is. With the whole School Wars thingy... By the way, you're coming to watch, right?
Noah: Of course. I mean, I'll go watch the footy match, 'cause today I'm supposed to go with Saskia to the hospital. She's getting an ultrasound.
Eddie: Are you guys gonna find out the sex of the baby?
Noah: Not yet. But we're gonna see, if everything's alright.
Eddie: Good luck, my man.
Noah: Thank you.
[They finally get to the school, which, as usual during the School Wars, was twice as crowded. Eddie says goodbye to Noah, and is immediately received with a "happy birthday" chant from the whole group]
Eddie: Can't believe you guys remembered.
Russ: Of course we did... By the way, here's your birthday present from me (hands him a sweater).
Eddie: (fake enthusiasm) Oh look, more clothes.
Bree: Oh, and here's a present from me too (hands him a bracelet). I know it's not your kind of thing, but it's just for you to remember me.
Eddie: Aw, it's okay Bree. It's the thought that counts.
Chase: And check out what I got you... (hands him a car miniature) It's a replica of your brother's car. Now you can brag about having your own convertible.
