Scene 1:

It's been a few days. Right now, Eddie is waking up, as his first day of school awaits. Noah is there to motivate him.

Eddie: Ugh, what time is it?

Noah: Time to go to school, lazy ass. Now put on that uniform, and come have breakfast.

[Eddie puts on the uniform, gets himself ready and comes downstairs to have breakfast]

Gary: Good morning, Landon. Ready for the first day of school?

Eddie: (sitting and grabbing a piece of fairy bread) Yeah, I'd say so... (tries it) Wow, this thing is delicious.

Judy: That's fairy bread.

Eddie: It's really good.

Noah: Yeah, it is.

[Eddie finishes eating]

Eddie: Well, time to go.

Noah: I'll take you to school in the convertible.

Eddie: Hell yeah, baby!

Noah: I mean, unless you wanna walk, which is not an unreasonable distance.

Eddie: Nah, I wanna show up in that kick-ass car.

[The two of them leave, get in the car, and go to school. As they get there, Noah was blasting "vertigo" by American Hi-Fi in his convertible]

Noah: And here you are.

Eddie: Thanks for the ride, big bro.

Noah: No problem. Good luck, and have fun.

[Eddie gets out the car, as a few people watch in awe. One of them is that Chase kid that Duncan mentioned previously, and that's precisely who Eddie runs into, as he gets out of the car. Noah storms off]

Chase: That car is ridiculously cool.

Eddie: Yeah, it's my brother's. He's in the cartoon business.

Chase: Yep, we all know your brother. Max Hammer is an absolute legend in this school. They're gonna build him a statue, and name the library after him.

Eddie: That's insane.

Chase: But true... You must be Landon, right? (they shake hands) I heard about you. I'm...

Eddie: (continues his sentence) Chase, yeah, I heard about you too.

Chase: So this is great, we're both famous!

Eddie: (laughs) Yeah, our reputations have been catching on.

Chase: Want me to show you around the school?

Eddie: Max already gave me a tour, but sure, why not?

[They begin walking]

Chase: So, as you can see, this is pretty much just a regular school.

Eddie: It looks beautiful, though.

Chase: Yeah, it does. And it's quite peaceful.

Eddie: You sound american. Are you from the states?

Chase: No, I'm from Canada, but most people think I'm american because I don't start every sentence with "Sorry".

Eddie: (laughs) So this is cool, we're both foreigners.

Chase: Yeah... I don't really feel like a foreigner here, you know? I mean, apart from the way the aussies speak.

Eddie: Yeah, me neither.
