Scene 1:
It's January 2021. Two exact years since Clive ran away. Eddie, now 13 and in the 9th grade, is in the Sacred Falls High school, and he just entered the principal's office. His hands and clothes still smell like blood. Luckily for him, it's someone else's blood. But it does look like he's in big trouble.
Principal: (visibly angry) Are you comfortable, Mr. Eddie King?
Eddie: Yep, this chair is very cozy.
Principal: (raging) You think this is funny, Eddie?
Eddie: No, sir.
Principal: (still raging) You fractured the skull of another student, and sent 7 others to the hospital... Why?
Eddie: I was being bullied. They wanted to put me in the locker, so I started throwing hands.
Principal: You did a little more than that. You went too far this time.
Eddie: Sir, listen...
Principal: (interrupting him) No, you listen, young man! I've had it with you. Selling drugs, possession of weapons and illegal money, and now you put the physical well-being of the other students in danger. You pushed this way too fucking far, Eddie. You're dangerous. You're a liability. And it's time to pay.
Eddie: What, you're gonna suspend me again?
Principal: No... This time, you're actually expelled.
[Eddie simply smiles, without saying anything]
Principal: I don't think you realize this is serious. You're expelled, for real this time.
Eddie: (grinning) I do realize it... And I'm happy. This school sucks either way. My brother was right.
Principal: (fuming mad) How dare you even mention your late brother... How dare you disrespect our school in such a manner.
Eddie: A school that treats students like shit doesn't deserve respect. A school that punishes a student for standing up against bullies is a shithole. Peace, I'm out!
[Eddie begins to leave, as the principal is still screaming]
Principal: You bastard! Stay out of this fucking school! You belong in jail, you disgusting criminal! You lying, drug dealing, piece of motherfucking shit!
[As Eddie leaves the office, the whole school was looking, in shock. Two lines of people, one on each side, as he did the walk of shame. Everyone giving him disapproving stares]
Eddie: (stops walking) You will all be pleased to know, that I'm outta here, forever. And you can look at me like that, I don't give a fuck. The era of Eddie is just about to begin (confidently walks out).
Scene 2:
Eddie's parents, Henry and Dora King, picked him up from school, and have been screaming at him ever since. They just got home now. It's been going on for so long, that Eddie isn't even listening, nor caring anymore.
Dora: You're completely out of control. You took things way too far.
Henry: You're grounded. No cellphone, no computer, and tomorrow morning, you're going to Bullsworth Academy, the all-boys school I went to. And I'll tell them to keep an eye on you, and not let you have any fun.
Dora: You disappointed us big time. Drugs? Beating people up?
Eddie: Hey, you're making it sound like I do drugs. I just sell them.
