Author's Pov
Y/n kept on fiddling with the letter and looking at Jungkook. She knew all along that it came from Taehyung and she didn't need clarification for that. Jungkook excused himself and went to stand near the balcony staring into the starry night.
Y/n placed the letter inside her purse.
"Maybe I should check on Taehyung, he didn't seem too well tonight."
She called him a few times but it was just the same results over and over again, voice mail. Jungkook on the other hand just felt suffocated with jealousy. He had a feeling that the letter came from Taehyung.
"Y/n, tell me something, I'm confused here. I just don't understand your relationship with Taehyung. I know you said you are friends and I want to believe that, but everytime I see you two together I feel so uneasy. I don't feel that with other men around you and trust me when I say it's much worser than what I felt with Ethan." He said the moment he felt her presence, earning a confused look from her .
"What are you talking about, Jungkook?" She asked touching his arm making him turn to her.
"You know what I'm talking about, Y/n. I don't want any more secrets between us, they broke us apart back then and they could do worse now." Jungkook said cupping her cheek and Y/n instantly told him about Taehyung's confession.
"Tell me something I don't know." Jungkook scoffed as he rolled his eyes.
"You didn't know that." She spoke surprised.
"You sure? It was written all over that guy's face everytime he looked at you. I'm sure everybody else noticed except for you." Jungkook spat out as she just looked at him literally spaced out.
She was just trying to understand what Jungkook said.
"Was I really blind towards Taehyung's love for me?"

"Y/n! You look pretty."
"Lovely roses for a beautiful lady."
"You know why I like your eyes? Because I can never go wrong in reading them and they are so pretty to look at. I feel as though the whole galaxy resides in them."

Y/n remembered some of the words Taehyung said in the past few years. To her, they felt like just mere nice compliments from him, after all he was always a sweet talker. She never realised how his compliments and actions transitioned from ordinary to love based.
Everything started to make sense to her. He always gave her hints but to her, it was just him being friendly. Perhaps she was just not ready to accept someone's love soon after her failed relationship. She immediately rushed inside the room and took the letter out, Jungkook followed her as well.
"Hey what's wrong?" Jungkook asked panicked by her abrupt actions.
He stood behind her as she started to read the letter in silence along with him.

Dear Y/n
I know this must be strange for you and I'm really sorry for that. I don't even
know where to begin at this point and time. Oh well, let me start to when we first met. The day I met you, I just felt the need to bring a smile on your face. I knew you were in pain , I knew you were hurt and that's why you didn't smile much. I just wanted to end all the turmoil in your life, why? At first I didn't know why, but now I do and it's because I love you. At first I didn't understand that, because I knew you had someone in your life and Jinyoung was the result of that love. I tried so hard not to fall in love with you, but the more I saw you smile and the more my love for you grew. I know this sounds crazy, but I even imagined Jinyoung calling me his appa ;-). *Imagine my boxy smile* Don't mind my silliness, and Trust me when I say if you had wanted to spend the rest of your life with me, I would treat him like my own. I know that's not important now since someone else rules your heart. He always had and I think he always will. I'm really hurt by this truth but it's true and it hasn't really sink in yet, but I will be fine. Remember that time when I told you about how I could read your eyes? Well, I saw something and is that you love Jungkook. I knew it since long, but I never wanted to believe it. Infact the lover boy inside of me kept on having hope that one day he could be loved. But now I'm trying to accept the truth since I've never seen you this happy . Your happiness lies with him , so it's fine and I'm happy with that.
By the time you receive this, I will probably be gone, not forever though. I will return someday to meet U again.
