...Jungkook💕 Y/n...

Author's Pov

Jungkook woke up in excitement ready to rain her face with kisses, it was their 3rd Anniversary after all. He touched the side of her bed with his hand still with closed eyes, but he didn't feel her. He started to get worked up thinking she was not there.

'Damn what's wrong with you Jungkook, the bathroom she should be there.'

He opened the bathroom door, but she was not there, not even in the dressing room. Before he could head out of the dressing room, he saw something on the mirror written with a red lipstick.

Happy 3rd Anniversary, Love.
I'm glad to know that you are
Who I spent 3 years with
And I'm proud of it.

💋💋I love you lots💋💋

~Y/n~

I was pleased to learn that she had wished me first, although it felt somewhat sad that I hadn't done the same. I wished she was there with me. I had questions about why she left and where she went. I took my phone from the nightstand to call her, but there was no answer. I tried 30 more times, yet still, there was no response. He then freshened up and went downstairs to have breakfast.

"Mom, have you seen Y/n?" He inquired as his mother set the breakfast table.

"She mentioned something urgent came up and left quickly. Did you two have a disagreement or something? She seemed exhausted, and I'm not sure she was feeling well either." His mother replied, her words taking him by surprise.

"We were just planning for tonight and ended up staying up late watching movies. She's probably worn out from all that." He responded, trying to sound nonchalant. Despite their evening, he was certain it wasn't the cause of her tiredness. He remained puzzled but chose not to alarm his mother by saying those easing words to her.

"Oh, and Happy 3rd Anniversary son. I'm happy for the both of you and I hope soon you..." His mother said but instead his dad finished her sentence for her.

"You will get married. We are getting old son, we need mini YnKooks around the house." They laughed at his dad's cheesiness.

"YnKook!?" He was surprised at his dad's sudden cheesiness.

"Certainly, Y/n must possess some magic to make my dad crack jokes like this." he mused to himself.

After mustering the courage to leave the Jeon's mansion, Y/n headed straight home. She looked dishevelled, with swollen eyes and concealer that barely hid her dark circles to her satisfaction Ensuring Mrs. Jeon didn't fully see her zombie-like appearance was challenging enough; otherwise, she would have faced a bunch of unanswerable questions. Well, no breath to heave out just as yet because another obstacle was her mother.

She was well aware that her mother's words wouldn't be comforting and that a slew of inquiries would follow as soon as she saw her. After all, sleeping for barely two hours would have its consequences.

She hurried upstairs, breathing a sigh of relief as she reached the hallway leading to her room, unnoticed by her mother, who was still busy preparing breakfast. However, her sense of relief was short-lived when she unexpectedly ran into Yoongi.
