Author's pov
The moment Y/n reached home; she went straight to her bedroom without saying a word to anyone. She felt frustrated about what she saw earlier and the heated argument they had. That altercation made things ten times worse.
"Why does she make me feel so insecure? She is nothing but his past, yet I'm affected by her silly tactics. How ironic is this? I'm calling them silly tactics whereas on the other hand I had this heated argument with Jungkook all thanks to her. Ohh God!! Relationships are too tiring." She said urging to scream at the top of her lungs.
The same thing applied for Jungkook. He went straight into his bedroom without even looking at his surroundings. He felt his life as though it was a rundown. He didn't know if it was pain or anger that disturbed him the most, but it was definitely between the two.
"Women are complicated, why doesn't she get it already. If I wanted Lisa back then I wouldn't be with her. I understand her insecurities though, but what she said hurts. It just felt as though she confirmed that she doesn't find me worthy of her trust. I for sure am not happy with her being around her crusher. That guy probably had a crush on her since middle-school. I also have my own insecurities, but I trust her. She's just making a mountain of a mole-hill." Jungkook complained as he kept on tossing and turning on the bed.

The Next Day
The next morning they avoided each other as much as possible. They attended three whole classes together, yet they seemed as though they were total strangers. Whenever they made eye contact by mistake, they would look in the opposite direction.
"Is it me or something is wrong between you and Y/n?" Jimin asked Jungkook who was beside him during lunch.
"Maybe, I don't know and I don't wanna talk about it." He simply replied while fiddling with his chopsticks. His food remained untouched and it worried Jimin.
"Jungkook, really what's going on?" Jimin asked again looking at the almost mannequin-Jungkook beside him.
"Relationships are tiring as simple that." He replied while he looked at Jimin and he just looked back at him without knowing what to say next. They kept silent for a moment when Jungkook decided to speak again.
"Do you know the worst pain in life. Is knowing that you love someone so much yet they make you feel unworthy. That is how I feel right now." His tone and words made Jimin's stomach drop.
Immediately after saying that Jungkook's eyes met with Y/n's and she immediately looked somewhere else. Jimin saw their actions and felt what was going on was not right.
"Does it have to do with Lisa's Valentine's truck to you?" Jimin asked and Jungkook shook his head.
"That may have just added fuel to the fire but it's not that." His monotonic voice said.
"Now I'm lost, well whatever that is happened between you two was probably a misunderstanding. If there's anyone I know who cares and loves you soo much, then it's Y/n. So please stop sulking and go to talk to her, this won't help with anything." He said but Jungkook remained adamant not to talk to her.
"I don't feel like it, if there's anyone who has to talk first it's her. If she doesn't want to then I don't want to either. Why should I always be the one to break the ice? It takes two to tango, so she should make that effort as well." The moment he said that Jimin kept quiet. He just didn't know what to do. He knew Y/n was so stubborn and if she had vowed she wouldn't talk to Jungkook, then she would do exactly that.
