Jungkook's Pov
The movie night went out so well. I just loved the feeling of having her close to me more than anything. I wouldn't even mind watching her favourite romantic movies or cooking shows either, just as long as she was there.
"How was it? Was it your first time watching it?" I asked out of curiosity.
"Not bad, but the book is better. Yes it was my first time. Here they took out some of the most important scenes. On the book they made the emotions so clear. Christian is too much of a BDSM sort of guy, I don't like him." Y/n twitched her lips as she uttered her words.
"Ohh, so you read the whole book?" The conversation was getting interesting. I would get to know some of her preferences without putting much effort.
"Yes I did. You know, I expected a happier ending, but no it was rather disappointing like the movie itself. I wanted Christian to be more than just sexually involved with Ana. I wanted him to at least feel something more for her. I wouldn't mind if they didn't end up together, at least if the writer pointed out that he became emotionally connected to her. The story would have a better sad ending. Ana wouldn't end up as just one of Christian's sex toys but someone special. I felt like I don't get the moral of the story because, Ana just ended up being like every other girl Christian was ever involved with. He made her feel special only to show her in the end, she was just like any other typical girl he slept with." She said and I was left perplexed by her comment. I realised that she had quite lot to say about the book.
"Wow! I didn't know the book intrigued you that much. I think the book would just have ended up with a happy ending like every other typical story. Happy endings are boring love, this is not Disney teenage movies. Ana just got her hopes up for something which was never gonna occur. Christian mentioned it the start of their fling that his not the type for commitments. He was more interested in bondage games, the contract made it clear." I said my opinion about the movie. I knew since our options clashed, it would lead to a silly argument.
"He's just a piece of crap. I don't like him at all. I can't believe you support his ideology, so you are telling me you would do that as well?" She asked as she stared deep into my soul with her piercing eyes.
"No babe, no. I'm too emotional to do something like that. I would get attached to at least one of them, especially Ana. I think Christian probably did, he just didn't wanna show it." I sincerely replied as she gazed at her palm and nodded. I hope she was not thinking of me being that violent to her like in the last scene.
"Are you okay?" I asked as I took her hand in mine and she stared right into my eyes.
"Yes I'm fine, don't worry about it." She replied as she leaned closer to me.
"Babe can I ask you something?" I asked as she hummed softly.
"What do you think about the last scene?" The moment I asked that question I could feel her body tense up.
"I don't know but I think it is too much of a violent act. It has no respect in it, there is no passion. It was proof enough to show that Christian had no love nor any feelings towards Ana. That's what I think. I understood why she left him for good afterwards." She said and I kept that as a note to remember. She was right though, I felt the same way.
"What's with all this questions about this movie?" She asks with her calm voice.
"I just wanted to know your thoughts about it." I said as she nodded and I could feel the ending really did ruin her night.
"Let's go upstairs." She said as she stood up and held my hand to try and drag me there.
"I'm sorry if the last scene made you feel a little uncomfortable. I really di..." She interrupted me with her index finger on my lips.
