Even through every argument we had or disagreement, I always found myself falling more in love with Mal.

But through our roller coaster of good and bad, I found myself in the middle of Mal and her ex-husband.

There was a small problem that erupted between the two. It was custody over Chasity, he demanded more time with his daughter than just a few hours.

"I want to see my daughter more! I don't care about you and this new guy. I want my daughter with me and not crawling all over him."
"I don't give a damn about what you want." She shrugged.
"I can tell because when I wanted more children you told me no. Met this guy and boom you blew up."

I was trying to not intervene, but I didn't like his disrespect towards Mal at all.
"You know, I took you out once and I can do it again." I said walking into the living room coming face to face with Ryan.
"This doesn't concern you, I'm trying to have an adult conversation with the mother of my child." He was sharp on the word "my" and wanted to make sure I knew she wasn't mines. Which I mean...like duh dude. Anyways, I turned to him and I said-

"It does concern me when you walk into my house that I pay the bills in-"
"I pay them too..." Mal chimed making me chuckle.
"And talk to my woman like that. Especially on her weight when she just gave birth to my daughter a few months ago. I love every roll and curve on her body. I suck all over it."
"I don't need to hear all that."
"But you are because this is our home. Lower your tone while the children in this house are resting. Most importantly don't ever yell at her."

"I'll see you in court." He smirked and left out.

I reached out to Mal and I held her close to my chest. "He's not gonna be able to get her. I'll make sure my lawyers do everything they can. Plus, I'm richer."
"That's why I got with you...thick wallet." She joked.
"Please, you love me!" I smiled kissing her lips.
"I love it when you turn me around..."

And so I did.

"Kisses on the neck." I said up against her neck as I placed kissed.
"Mhm." She moaned.
"Since we might be going to court soon, might as well get some practice in. I'm the judge." We laughed as she took my hands placing them between her thighs.
"I promise I didn't do it."
"Got proof? Where's your evidence?" I bit my lip looking down at her as she pulled my sweats down.
"I got a DNA test for you."

Mal and Ryan have been at each other throats lately. He wants part custody of Chasity, but Mal is afraid he might harm her. As much as she claims he loves his daughter, Mal has to meet up in a public place in an open area with people around. She has to be there at all times watching Chasity and Ryan.

"Chasity, come her baby." She quickly ran over to her mama jumping into her arms. "I love you so much." She smiled kissing her head.
Mal looked at me with pain in her eyes knowing that she going to make the decision for her to no longer see her father.

"I'm just scared he might harm her and I won't be there to protect her." Her leg was shaking which was a sign that Mal was becoming frustrated.
"He loved me and still put his hands on me multiple times. I'm trying to be smart and cautious because I don't want to be reason anything happens to my baby."
"All you have to do is say it baby...You know I'm here and like I've been doing before I'm going to be a father to the both of them."
"I'm just not sure if I can trust him alone with her anymore."
She kissed her head holding Chasity tight.
"Maybe the best option is to continue what you guys had going on. When Chasity is older to talk and communicate things that goes on then it might be better for her to go along."
"I think I will continue to do that and if he doesn't want that I will take full custody of my daughter."

Ryan summoned us to court and it couldn't be more stressful. I wanted to enjoy my family without any problems, but he wouldn't get off our backs.

We spent hours in meetings and court sessions trying to come to a agreement. Mal had the upper hand in this situation because Ryan was known for his abuse towards Mal. I don't understand why Mal just won't shut it down and get full custody.

"Just take Full custody...."
"I want her to know her father. I need you to just focus on yours."
"What does that suppose to mean?"
"It means you father Nyla and Ryan will do his part on being a father to Chasity."
"So, I can't do both? You're so scared of her being in harms way, but you want him to still see her? Make it make sense Mal."
"Under my supervision!"
"It doesn't matter! Because what if he decides to do something to you huh?!"
"What part of being in a public place in the mid day do you not understand?"
"What part of he wants full custody of the kid do you not understand?"

There was intense eye contact between the two of us.

"I want her to have a relationship with her father. I don't want to take him or her away from that. I'm trying to find a solution. Most importantly I don't want my daughter alone with him. Would you trust him alone with a child? If he puts his hands on a woman what makes you think he won't hit a child?"
"Ok, go ahead Mal. This is crazy, you keep going back and forth. I want to be home with you and our daughters. End this shit now."

"I just don't want daughter to be affected by any of this. Nyla will have you every step along the way, but Chasity won't have that."

Things were difficult with Ryan and Chasity, but they some how worked it out. He eventually stopped being a pain in the ass with court and decided he needed to work on his relationship with Mal first. Slowly, Mal let Ryan have Chasity for awhile.

As much as I hate to admit it, but he was a good father. She loved seeing her father every time. As soon as he walked through the door she would run her little legs straight to him.

Ryan and I relationship was mutual for the sake of our children. As well as making things easier for Mal for the both of her little girls. We put everything aside and did our jobs as fathers. The most important thing to me was making sure I kept that smile on Mal's face.
