Alejandro headed inside, Elijah on his heels. Alejandro sat down on the couch, Elijah following him. "Hey, why don't you go up to your room? Other daddy and I need to talk." Elijah bit his lip before nodding. "Could I go play with Xavier, actually?" The small boy fiddled with his fingers, looking down. Alejandro chuckled and nodded. "Yes, go." Elijah let out a loud, delighted noise and dashed past Mattia and out of the house.
Mattia smiled subtly before taking a seat next to Alejandro. The italian rested a hand on the costa rican's thigh. "Tia, where have you been?" Alejandro asked, in a slightly worried tone. Mattia shrugged, looking away. "Around. I was afraid to come back. There have been random cars parked around the house here and there, I thought you had moved on."
Alejandro looked at him in disbelief. He punched his arm. "And I thought you were dead! We had your funeral and everything. You were in the coffin. I- I.." Alejandro trailed off, burying his face in his hands. Mattia stayed silent, looking at him. "You scared me, Mattia." The shorter of the two mumbled.
Mattia pulled the costa rican close to him, cradling him almost. He kissed his forehead, still silent. Alejandro relaxed at his touch, going silent as well. "I'm sorry." The italian mumbled, looking at him. It was Alejandro's turn to look away. "It's okay. I forgive you. But you can't- you cant ever do that to me. Ever again." The italian nodded.
"Deal."

Andddd just like that, Tough Love is finally finished ! Yeesh, I had a lot of fun with this book. I'm sorry this chapter was short, but ya. I definitely like this idea of ending the book rather than a different one I had in mind. Hope you enjoyed ! Now onto my fifteen million other books I need to continue. Might archive some for now because I have so many different ideas for new books. Stay healthy ! Drink plenty of water and eat plenty of food; not too much that you make yourself sick though.
