twenty-seven: shake it off

Josephine's Pov

I just had a anxiety attack and I wasn't having them from a while.
Thank God, Grayson and Ethan had to come at mine just to spend some time together and he find me out of breathe and panicking sit on the living room floor.

The stereos are playing  Selfish by Madison Beer while I'm breathing deeply sitting  with my knees right on my chest, arms around my legs, on the armchair placed right in front of the glass wall.

"Hey." Gray says sitting on the armchair next to mine.
I look at him and I notice the preoccupied look that he is giving me under his long brown lushes.
I still can visualise his face expression when he opened the door. I even feel so bad for him, he dosen't do nothing to deserve to be in that position.

Thank God I didn't locked the door or I could be still gasping or who knows.

"Hey." I say it back.
"What are you thinking of?" he says handing a glass of water. I thank him with a light smile and then I take a sip before answer to his question.

What I'm really thinking of?

I look around. I look at the walls that we painted, the paintings that we bought, the forniture that we fight for.
The house that we bough also thank to Christian and Eleanor.

This big ass house that we bought and made it more like a home with our favourite aesthetic but now I find myself living her with the company of just his clothes well placed in his wardrobe.

I'm also thinking that as the song says i don't understand 'who hw wants to run from, me or his problems' and I'm also scared to be forced to spend the Christmas and new year alone at this point I'm expecting everything from him.

"I'm thinking that this song it's like written for me. Right for this whole thing." I say referring to Hero's thing.
"I think we should change music." he says standing up and going to change song.

I hear the intro of Shake it off playing the whole house, I place my left cheek on my knees and look at him that turns in my way with a light smile.

He comes up to me and takes my hands.
"Common you need it." he says pulling me.
I sigh.
He starts to dance in a goofy way that remembers me about Nathan.
I stand with a light smile on my lips.
"Oh what's happening?" Ethan walks with a cup of coffee.
His eyes are wide open looking at his twin brother dancing while I keep a laugh for me.
"Can I?" Ethan asks pointing with his eyes on his hands.
"No I asked her first." Grayson says taking my both hands.

I start to imitate him and I try to let my mind go.

"Hey, hey, hey! Just think while you've been gettin' down and out about the liars and the dirty, dirty cheats of the world. You could've been gettin' down to this sick beat." Grayson sings the part without the base impressing me.

"Your turn." she says throwing mr the tv remote control to use it as a mic.

I look at it and shaking my head.

"C'mon don't be shy." he says with a smirk.

"My ex man brought his new girlfriend, she's like, "Oh my God!", I'm just gonna shake and to the fella over there with the hella good hair: Won't you come on over baby? We can shake, shake, shake" I sing.

"Yeah" he sings.

"Yeah, oh." I try to sing the get the note.

"Oh wow." he says looking at me with his eyes wide open and grabbing my hands again.
