fifteen: coffee in company

Josephine's Pov

The wind is even colder today.
That wind that caress your skin but it's so cold that that touch makes you a loose all the sensibility on your entire body.

While I'm walking into the HarperCollins, I mentally do a list of things that I should do before leave for Liverpool, like: do a stop at a gas station, it will be a long drive.
It will be the longest drive I've ever done from when I moved to England.

I already prepared my bag with things that I'll be needing for that night and some clothes clothes for Hero, especially sweaters because is getting colder in England.

Then I remember myself that I also have to go to Martha's because when I told her about the surprise that I'm going to do she wanted to cook something good for his son.

When I get to the office the first thing that I do is thanking God to didn't make me meet Scarlett on the way to my office because it could ruin my whole day and then, I concentrate on work and try to finish it as soon as possible.

I really get into my work because the story really got me with this girl that get to fake this rich business man's fiancé, just to make jealous his ex girlfriend that is planning to marry an another man. In change of her job, he will pay her a scholarship, helping her end her studies at the university but of course their relationship goes through a lot evolutions and they catch feelings for each other.

A knock on my door distracts me from my report on the beautiful story that I read.
"Come in." I say expecting Selena to come in but when the door opens, I remember that is her day off. So instead of a beautiful Mexican girl, I end up seeing two guys that look exactly the same but I don't know how I already can tell how is Grayson and how is Ethan.

"Oh, hello guys!" I tell them .
"Good morning." they both say together.
"Good morning guys. So happy to see you. Today everyone left me, Selena even Christian that is taking care of El." I say while I'm looking at their cozy outfits, they both are wearing the same merchandise, I think, but in a different colour.
"Oh yeah, we heard about El, in the evening we will go to see how she's doing." Grayson says.

"Yeah. We came here because we were going to take a coffee, you want to come with us?" Ethan asks.
I give a quick look to Grayson that is giving a side look to his brother and then looks at me waiting for my answer.

I don't have much to write and I really need a break because if I continue to keep going like this I'll be so tired that I'll fall asleep while I'm driving.

"I would love to, just a sec." I say turning around, saving the file and shutting down the computer.
I grab my Jacket and my purse.
"Alright, let's go." I tell them and they both shows me the door making me step out first.
"Oh wow, thank you." I say impressed by the gesture.

Of course while we're walking to the exit, we get so many stares on us and there are two reasons for that, the first one is because of Scarlett's fake gossip about me and two I guess every woman in the building are dying for these two.

"Bro, they all were fucking staring at us." Ethan says looking at his twin brother once we stepped out.
"Fuck yeah. Maybe, you know why?" Grayson asks walking on my left side.
I look at him and I can see the curiosity shine on his caramel/green eyes.
"First of all, they were staring at you two. I didn't heard anything around but is tbt that hard to understand why they we're looking at you." I say and I see them both give a little look at each other.
"Are we that dumb?" Grayson asks making me die laughing.
"I guess so." I say opening the glass door and entering in the caffetteria.

I spot a perfect table. Not too isolated, next to the glass wall and for three people.

"What I can get for you guys?" the waitress asks reaching our table.
"Two coffees and?" Ethan says and then looks at me waiting to know what's my order.
"A cappuccino." I say and the girl nods.
She gives a quick look at the two twins and then walks away.
"How you two can drink just coffe?" I ask not understanding how people can during a something that strong without nothing on it.
"Don't forget that we're American and we drink tons of coffe and we also are vegetarians so... no milk." Ethan explains and I get really surprised hearing about their choice.
"Oh wow, that's amazing but I never could do that. I love eggs and cheese too much to give up." I say.

"Jo you didn't finished you sentence. Why they were looking at us?" Grayson insist to know.
"Because you two are literally the same person, because you're handsome guys and American so.. that's why the whole building are dying over you two." I explain and meanwhile I see Grayson's flattered smile get bigger and bigger while Ethan was just shocked.
They really didn't thought of that?
"No way. I'm off market and by the way so if someone asks.." Ethan says.
I'm not that surprised they can model for how stunning they're.

"I'll don't worry. Is also your girlfriend here in London?" I ask him curious.
A spark lifts up in his face when he hears your girlfriend.
"No she isn't here unfortunately she had to stay in LA." he says.
"You two are from LA? I could bet on it, since the first moment I saw you." I say looking right into Grayson's eyes.
"Jeez is that obvious?" Grayson asks laughing while his phone buzzes on the table but he ignores it.
"But we're not from LA. We born in New Jersey but we moved to LA when we were sixteen and now we're twenty two, in few months, and that house is more a second house now we spend more of our time in New York." Ethan says.
"Oh so you're younger than me of one year but I can already say that you two are so mature. How you two ended up in LA?" I ask them.
"No first." Grayson starts but he gets interrupted by the waitress that gives us our hot drinks and then walks away after gave Grayson a look.

I look at Ethan that frowned the forehead like I did in front of that cringe scene and we both start to laugh.
"Anyway, why you could bet on it?" he asks.
So I start to remember that day, the fascinated way that I was looking at him. He was a literal hero to me that day.
"Your skin tone was so tanned, your hair remembered me of the American Tiktokers and your clothing style." I say.
