Josephine's Pov

I decide to put a simple tight black elegant suit that gets till half of my thighs and on top of that, I put a long coat to keep myself warm for an eventual dinner on the luxurious terrace of the five star restaurant.

I get ready so quickly that I get bored in the silent house.

I grab my make up brushes and pallets and I start to have fun with them.
I don't know from where I got all this creativity tonight but this is the best make up I've ever done.
The saddest part is that Hero I'll not get to see me in person tonight. To be honest I don't know if he will be able to see me even on FaceTime.

From when he left for Liverpool even hear his voice become a challenge. He is always busy.
It's so hard to guess the right time to give him a call and I think that when I call him and he doesn't pick up, he even forgets to call me back sometimes even if he sees the missed call.

I'm not living this distance so well and he isn't helping me that much to go through it.

My phone starts to ring so I literally run to turn off the music that I put to keep myself some company and I take my phone convinced that Hero is calling.
Unfortunately my hopes falls when I see Christian's name on the display.

"Hey Chris, are you already here?" I ask surprised looking at the clock.
"No unfortunately I'm calling to tell you that Eleanor is feeling sick so we can't come to the dinner." Christian says and then even the little excitement that I had for this dinner falls apart.
"Oh don't worry." I say looking at my dress.
"But how is she? Maybe I can come over to help her out." I propose.
"Oh she is having some fever, it isn't Covid related but you shouldn't come. I'll also stay at home tomorrow to keep her some company." Christian says.
"Good idea, tell her that I said hi." I tell him.
"She is sleeping now but I'll when she wakes up. I'm so sorry for the dinner, dear." he says .
"Oh don't worry we can have dinner there another time. El health comes first." I tell him.
"But hey, you can go with some of your friends, maybe with Selena? The reservation is done so.." he propose.
"Mmm I don't know..." I tell him.
"Jo, they already will make me pay for the late cancellation so it isn't a really big difference. Go and have fun!" he tells me.
"Thank you so much Chris and wish El to get well soon." I say so emotional about the fact that he literally is offering me a payed dinner in one of the luxurious restaurants making sure that I'm with good company.
"Mark it as done. Have a great night." he says before hanging up the phone.

So I immediately text Selena asking her if she can come and fortunately Justin is at home so she can leave Elle with him.

When I get to the car ready to pick Selena up, my phone starts to ring so I sit on the seat, close the car door and start to search in my purse for my phone.
When I grab it, I start to hope to not get dumped also from Selena.

I look at the screen and it's Hero FaceTiming me.
I press the green button and I see him comfortably laid on the sofa of the Liverpool apartment, with his hood on.
It seems like I haven't see him for months and maybe that's why I immediately get hot especially on my face is like I'm standing 5 centimetres away from a fireplace.

"Oh woah woah woah, where are you going?" he says making me laugh.
"Hey, baba.  Yeah I'm good, I miss you too."  I say say sarcastically.
"I'm sorry. How are you?" he asks correcting himself.
"Good good, you?" I ask him.
He wets his lips with his tongue.
"I'm great. You look absolutely stunning.
Where are you going?" he asks again.
I guess I caught him off guard.
"Thank you, it's a shame that you aren't here." I tell him and his eyes get a bit sad.
"Don't remind me that! But seriously where are you going?" he asks a bit worried.
"Don't worry Mr Fiennes, I'm just going out with Selena." I say and I see him let go a alleviating sigh out of his mouth when I say Selena.
"I'm so happy that you're going to have some fun, also Mercy called me and told me that you spent some time with her at mom's yesterday." Hero says.
"Yeah, your mom is giving me so many tips for our plants. She is a genius." I say turning on the engine to make it get warm and ready to go.
"I took from her." he says flattering himself.
