It was the first night without Hero and I slept horribly. We always sleep cuddled to each other and the most of the time I'm the little spoon. Not feeling the warmth of his body, I felt so cold in the back area. It was also rainy. The sound of the rain hitting the lass wall was so relaxing but to fall asleep I had to put a jumper on and a pillow on the back. The only thing that was comforting was having Diesel cuddled at my feets. He is the sweetest creature I've ever met.
"It's one of the most rainy day ever!" the radio host says while I'm stuck into the British traffic. It's one of the most silent traffic I've ever head. No clacsons at all.
When I get to the underground parking of our building I'm twenty minutes late but strangely I'm calm knowing that wasn't my fault. I take the elevator get to the reception and clock in. I get in the elevator, I catch my phone from my bag and than I watch again the good morning messages that Hero sent me at 6:05 in the morning. He's about to work really hard and getting bigger muscles? I hope not because his shape is so perfect now.
I get in my office and I start to work. Wow, this book I'll definitely buy it if was for sell. I start to write down my opinion about the book but then my computer opens FaceTime showing me that I have an incoming call. It's Hero, I can't shut it down. I press on the green button and I see his ocean eyes that makes me having butterflies in my stomach. His hair are wet, fresh of shower and I can smell his shampoo from here. "Hello Mama." he says smiling. Jeez how he can be real? This being away from him is making me emotional and taking me back at the beginning of our relationship. Looking at him through that screen in high definition quality, God bless Steve Jobs, makes me get to think the same questions that I was asking myself the first times that we slept together and I was up late staring at him thinking: "how he can be real?" "how he could ever fall for me?" "why me and not an another girl?" "I am so lucky" "he made my life better" "I could stare at him forever without getting tired of it."
"Hey." I say smiling at him while I can fell my heart start to get faster. Why I feel like when we first met? "I thought you were at lunch..." he says checking on his watch. I looked up and I see my computer signing 1:10PM. Shit I don't want him to think that I'm skipping meals so I spot the yogurt that I took with me from home. "I already lunched, now I'm eating this." I say opening if any taking a spoonful of it. "Did you lunched in your office?" he asks already worried. "Oh no no. In the cantine." I say. "Oh okay. I already miss you cookie." he says showing me a pouty face. "Ah! Don't get to that. I would love to come there to visit you but just the thought of getting off work and driving four hours to get there and other four to come back, destroys me." I say. "I know, don't worry about that. I'm sure that we booth will handle it well. So well that maybe you will not take me back to home because you like your solitary life." he jokes. I giggle. "I could never. I love living with you you changed my life in better." I tell him and I see him get softened. "You can't tell me these things while I'm away." he says. "It's just the truth. Oh wow the hotel look is more like a mention." I say seeing a cooler behind him. "Oh it's not a hotel it's more like an apartment." he says switching cameras and showing me the living and cooking area. "Oh wow, and how many of you are staying there?" I ask him. "Nine." he says. "W-What? So you all have a bedroom all for yourself?" I ask. "Yep." he says walking in a long corridor. "Good morning love birds!" I hear Morgz says while Hero is entering and showing me his bedroom that's already messy. "Hello Morgz! Miss ya!" I say giggling. Someone opens the door and I have no time to shut down the computer that Christian is already on my doorway looking at the screen. "Hey are you still there?" Hero asks. While I'm staring at Christian begging his forgiveness already. "Oh did I interrupt something?" he asks. "Oh no no, it's just Hero. Come in." I say. "Oh, Hello son." he says looking at Hero got me furrowing my eyebrows. "Son"? I mean I know that they are in good place but I didn't knew that they had bonded this much. "Oh Hello Christian, what's up there?" he asks. "Oh it's everything fine just going through one of the most rainy days in London." Christian says owning down hugging my chair to make sure that Hero is seeing him. "Oh really? Here is sunny, anyway Jo loves the rain." Hero says. "Lucky her I hate it." Christian says smiling at me. "How is there?" Christian asks while I'm starting to enjoy their little chatting. "Oh amazing, I'm loving here." he says full of excitement. I'm really happy for him but the fact that he is loving Liverpool it's not making me really happy. I think he notices it and the he says "But having her away isn't that lovely." Hero says. "I suggested her to take some day off" Christian says. "But she denied it, I know. Maybe she will take them to come to a match in case I get to play in this team." Hero alludes. "Oh she will, I will send her by force." Christian giggles. "Christian I don't want you to waste time, did you came here for ask me something?" I ask him curiously. "Oh yes, I would love to have lunch with you." he says. Oh shit. "Oh she already-" Hero try to say. "Hey I should go, hear you tonight?" I ask him. He gets surprised. Shit did i urged his feelings? "Oh, of course." Hero says. "Amazing, so hear you later." I tell him. "Later." he says. "I love you." I tell him and then I see a smile get on his lips. "I love you more." he says before hang up. I shut down the computer, take my phone and stand up from the chair.
