Josephine's Pov

I pick one of my many black dresses.
I brush my chair in a low bun.
I put just some mascara, red mat lipstic to give some brightness to my pale face and some blue on my cheeks.

Before leaving the bathroom I take my profume and I spray some on my neck, wrist and behind the ears.

I take all my stuff from the bedroom and I go searching for my sister, Nathan and Hero .
When I get to the living-room the first thing that I notice is the darkness outside the glass wall, I still forget sometimes how quickly gets dark in the winter time.
Then I remember what I was searching for so I blink two times to get back to Earth and then I find Hero standing near the sofa glaring at me.

I literally feel my hands getting sweaty and I feel too observed by him.
I see his tongue wet his lips and right after the corners of mouth lift in a light smile.

He changed his clothes in some blue jeans a t-shirt and a bomber jacket the one that we picked together.
"You look stunning. I like that dress." he says trying to approach with me.
"Thank you look great too." I know that I can sound so bitchy but I'm not going to give up in front of some sweet words.
"Where are Nathan and my sister?" I ask looking around.
"Oh they were ready so I told them to go." he says taking his phone from the sofa.
"And Diesel?" I ask.
"I took him at my mom's." he says.
"Oh okay so... let's go." I say walking to the door.

When I'm about to grab my car keys from the little table at the entrance, Hero's big hand with the most visible and sexy veins that are popping up, his red knuckles and his white gold rings wrapped around his fingers materialise right on it so I take my eyes to look up at him.
His blue ocean eyes that are glaring at me tonight so intensely.
"I am driving tonight." he says so firmly taking the keys and putting it on his jacket pocket.
I open my mouth to tell him "no" but then I give up to not ruin the atmosphere of tonight.

I close my mouth.
"Alright, let's go." I say and I see him a bit surprised.
I see his eyes first go wide sand after blink twice.
I knew that he was waiting for me to say no or say one of my jokes.
"Alright then let's go." he says opening the door for me.

When we get in the car I feel an embarrassing silence between us like both of us is searching the words but I'm just trying to keep my mind busy because everytime that I'm with him my mind reminds me about how he kept me away from his life not telling me about his dad and Scarlett.

"You can put some music if you want." he says catching me of guard and making me shake.
I see him turn in my way worried.
"Shit, sorry I didn't wanted scare you." he says.
"Don't worry and yes I know, did you forget this is my car?" I ask him and he smiles.

Why he is smiling?
He really likes when I'm this tough with him?

"What you was thinking?" she asks.
"Nothing." I say pulling up the zip of my jacket and he notices it with the corner of his eye so he turns on the heater especially the one of the feet since I have all my legs naked.
"You know that you will tell me that when you will be drunk so you should tell me now." he says with a sweet smirk.
He's right when I get drunk I get the most confident, friendly and talkative person in the world.
"I'm not going to get drunk tonight." I tell him pretty offended.
"This is another lie. You will and you know it but that's good, I'm not telling you to not have fun." he says.

Hero's Pov

She is really making me feel like I don't know her that well like once.
She told me that her music tastes changed but I can't know it since I'm not with her...
