I turn around slowly, thinking that maybe I'm having an hallucination or something but when I'm looking at the door I see Hero that is staring my sister and Nathan.

He is so shocked like I'm shocked to see him at home.
Every time that I get to see him I get to notice how hai muscles are getting a bit bigger, how handsome he is and how much I miss him even he makes a lot of mistakes.
«Hey man.» Nathan greets Hero but at the same time he wakes me up from my thoughts.

"H-Hero, what are you doing here?" I ask finally getting his eyes on me.
He looks at my whole body.
"I think you forgot that I live here." he says not being that sarcastic and giving a quick look at my left where is sit Grayson.
"I didn't." I say looking at him while Diesel is licking all over his face.
"Woah man, so happy too but chill a bit you little tornado." Hero whispers to Fiesel while he is literally running around hun and jumping on him.
Dogs don't understand the time so one day can see an year and since he doesn't see him in 2 weeks I get his exci.

"I just wasn't expecting you to come home." I say while Nathan walks toward him and gives him a hug.
"So nice to see you man. I have to confess that I missed you." Hero says giggling.
"Finally I hear this!" Nathan says stepping out from the hug and mocking him.
"Hey Hero is nice to see you again." Katherine says trying to be more kind possible.
"It's my pleasure Kath." Hero says giving him a hug.

I immediately see the difference between Kath's excitement and Nathan's.
That is influenced by my telling so she isn't that much happy to see him while Nathan is happy to see him because Hero is also a his friend, they got so close during the quarantine.

I give a quick look at Grayson that looks a little uncomfortable right now so I decide to introduce him.
"Hero this is Grayson a workmate and a friend." I says and Hero press his lips in a thin line try co curve the ends in a smile.
"I'm Hero her boyfriend." Hero says introducing himself before I get to do it and they both shake hands.
"Oh Jo talked about you a lot." Grayson says talking his hand off from Hero's grip.
"I hope well." Hero says and Gray shows him a fake smile.

If he really thinks that I can talk well about him in these last months he's wrong.

"Well." I say standing up.
"Take a seat I will take a plate and a glass to add." I say and then I walk to the kitchen.

While I'm taking the plate I feel a stare on me so I look back with the corner of my eye and I find him standing on the entrance of the kitchen.
"Why are you here?" I start.
"What, I can't come to my own house now?" he ask and I hear some arrogance in his voice.
"Hero if you came here to be so arrogant you can go back to Liverpool." I say taking a glass and then I turn around finding him with hai arms crossed.
"Who the fuck told you that this isn't your house? I just asked you why you are back to London in a week day." I say stopping what I'm doing and look right into his eye that a little bit softer now.

"It's just seems that you didn't want to see me." he says.
"And it's right. There was a reason why I ignored your calls." I say letting out all my anger. He looks at me silently.
"But you were the one that told me that just talking to each other we can resolve all the things." he says trying to be wise.
I giggle and his forehead frowns.
"I don't want to talk with people that don't tell me things. You said right I was the one that said that but if you listened at it, I said to each other." I say avoiding his look.

"Babe, I'm sorry okay? I lied to you but I was going to tell you. I did it for you." he says and I look at his face.
"You had to come up to me and ask me explanations, why you drives away? I didn't even saw you." he says and then I understand why he came here. He wasn't worried about my silence but he disco that I was there at the match.

"Ahhhh now it's all clear. You discovers it. Scarlett told you?" I say taking another bottle of wine to take to the dinner table.
"Jo list-" he starts but I talk over him.
"No listen you! My sister is here after an year that I don't saw her and she's here with Nathan and I don't want to talk about it now. We will talk when they all go to bed." I say talking back into my hands the plate and glass and walk toward him.
"Alright but who is that Grayson?" he asks when I pass him.
I turn back look to at him and I see him desperately waiting for an answer.
"Like I told you I have new friends now." I say while I smile internally seeing a bit of jealousy.
That's the karma babe.

So I get to the table followed by Hero and I place his plate at the head of the table's at mi right and Nathan's left.

"Guys for the night I thought that the two bays can sleep together and Kath can take the other guest bed room." I say sitting down and then there is silence.
Everyone is looking at each other while Hero is staring at me waiting for an explanation.
"Or since you two are roommates you can sleep together leaving Grayson the other guest room all for him." I say.
"It's okay for you?" Nathan ask to my sister while I'm feeling some tension between them like a sexual tension.

I think they have to tell me something.

"Oh also Grayson is sleep here?" Hero asks and I immediately look at him with my eyebrows frowned while I can feel how embarrassed is Gray.
"Yeah he is sleeping here." I say.
"You two are roommates?" Hero asks changing argument, while I read the body movements and he is so irritated by Grayson's presence.
"Yeah." Nathan says smiling.
"Like we did." Hero says looking at me softly but when he notices that he clench his teeth's and looks away from me.
"Yeah maybe you two will-"
"I stop you there." my sister stops me making all us laugh even Hero.
That giggle that I missed a lot.

We talk about so many things and the guys are so kind to not ask us about what happened or about Hero's soccer team.

"Alright I'm taking Diesel for a walk." Hero says placing the last plate in the dishwasher getting so close to me that we find each other at 5 centimeters from the other.

If he thinks that I'm not going to resist he is so wrong. I'm going to give him a lesson.

I'm really hurt from him. I'm so confused about what we will be in few months if he keeps playing with me and not being honest with me.

"Okay." I say thinking how happy will Diesel be.
"Sweet. I'm out then." he says sounding so disappointed.
What he was expecting from me? That maybe I was going to tell him "I'm coming with you"? After everything that he hided?
