24- The ex?

Lexi's P.O.V.

A few days later, I was laying in Lucas's naked arms when I heard Kennedy.

"Morning, Lucas."

"Morning baby, I'll go get her." He gave me a kiss before he got up.

I put on my underwear and shorts when Lucas walked in with her.

He laid her down in my arms so I could nurse her.

Laying down beside us, he whispered, "My two beautiful girls."

Later that day, I was in the living room on the floor with Kennedy talking with Helen and Erin.

"When were you and Lucas thinking of getting married?" Helen asked.

"Honestly, we haven't really talked about it yet. I'm hoping we can start planning soon." Again this stalker was interrupting my life.

"I can't wait to meet your mom, it's going to be so much fun planning this wedding." Helen beamed.

"She's going to love helping, we used to talk about my wedding when I was a little girl. I'm dying to tell her about Kennedy also, it's been so hard keeping this from her."

"I know sweetheart, but you know this is the best for Kennedy... for right now anyways. The boys are working hard to find this guy and then we can all move forward." Erin added.

I know-"

All of a sudden a few guys came busting in the room and Lucas and a few of his other guys came out of his office, guns in hand.

"What the heck is going on?"

Kevin looked at me. "Peter's here."

"What does he want?"

"He said he needs to talk to you ma'am." One of Lucas's guards told me.

"Please call me Lexi."

"Do you want to talk to him?" Lucas asked.

"Well I kind of would like to know what he wants since a few nights ago he wanted nothing to do to me anymore."

Lucas nodded "Mom, Erin can you please take Kennedy upstairs?"

I went and stood next to Lucas, interlocking our fingers together.

"I hate this guy." Lucas said under his breath.

"Why?"

"Maybe for the fact that he's in love with you and wants you for himself."

"Well I don't like him like that and I've made it very clear to him." I leaned over, kissing his cheek.

"I know, Lex. I trust you, I don't trust him."

Kevin and Ben came and stood next to me, while one of the other guys let Peter in.

He walked forward, "Hey, Lex."

"Peter."

He smiled at me and nodded towards Lucas.

"Listen, I was an ass the other night but I had time to think. I was just hurt that you even suspected me, Lex! I didn't even realize the stalker was still out there because I thought it was John. Either way, I'm glad I got crossed off the list but that's actually another reason why I'm here now. I had a date last night, we ended our night at a club and Zach was there."

"Yuck." Kevin groaned.

Peter started laughing and I smiled. "Yeah, he hasn't changed much. I talked to him for a little bit, he was drinking and wasn't doing good. He kept going on and on about you and how he wants you back. Lex the way he was talking, he's different. Maybe it's nothing but maybe it is and if you guys think her stalker is still out there it would be good looking into that."

Lucas let go of my hand and walked up to Peter, extending out his arm for a handshake. "Thank you for this information, we will be looking into it."

"You're welcome."

"I appreciate you coming here Pete, I just want to get my life back and any information towards possible leads means the world to me. Are we good?"

"We're good, Lex. I really, truly still want to be friends with you and get to know Lucas. I was serious that day at your parents house, I just want you to be happy and if that's with Lucas then I respect that."

I smiled and nodded.

"Good, anyways I should be going." Peter announced.

He turned to head for the front door, "Thank you Pete."

He smiled at me, "Anytime Lex, I'll see you later."
