The next morning, I heard Kennedy fussing. I sat up, loving the sight in front of me. Lucas had already gotten up and was talking to her at the changing table.

"She likes your hair, Babe."
He looked over with an evil smile. "Not as much as her mommy does."
I smiled, "I did miss pulling it."
He chuckled, "I'm sorry, I didn't mean to wake you, Hun. You might want to check her diaper, I've never done that before."
"She might be hungry too, bring her over, I'll feed her and then you can burp her if you want."
He brought Kennedy over to me. I checked the diaper, "Actually, you didn't do too bad for the first time. You're a natural daddy."
He gave me a kiss before I laid down on my side, he laid her in my arms and I started nursing her. Lucas laid down beside us, draping one arm around my waist and the other one above my head as he played with my hair.
"My two favorite girls... Are you on the pill?"
"No, I had no reason to be."
He looked at me and smiled. "Sooo-"
"Yep. I'm aware!" I started laughing.
Making love to Lucas last night, anysort of birth control was the last thing on my mind. Honestly, I would love nothing more than to have another baby with Lucas. I know right now wasn't the best time but he was here and I was finally happy again.
After I fed her, I handed her to Lucas and I jumped into the shower. I walked out in my towel and he was just laying her down. He jumped into the shower next while I finished getting ready.
******* Walking downstairs with my little family, we were greeted by everybody.
"Good morning sweetie, how did you sleep last night?" Erin asked, winking at me as she took Kennedy from my arms.
"I haven't slept that good for a really long time."
"Yeah right, we could hear you!" Ben teased.
"What? You could not... we made sure we were quiet." I snapped back.
Ben started laughing, "Well, now we all know you did make more babies last night."
The guys were all laughing, including Chris and David.
"Well played, Ben" I wrapped my arm around his neck and messed up his hair.
"So, have the two of you made up your mind on what we are doing moving forward, or were you too busy last night?" David asked, smiling.
"We were having family time last night, so no we never talked about it." Lucas admitted.
Lucas turned toward me, "So I think we have a few options. One, you and Kennedy come home. We keep Kennedy a secret from everyone, including any outside friends and probably even your parents. Two, Kennedy stays here and you come home with me... drawing your stalker out. Or three, Kennedy and you stay here and I go back home working on finding your stalker so you can come home too."
"I don't want to be away from you anymore Lucas, and I don't really want to leave Kennedy here either. I want to be a family with you, but I also don't want to put her in danger."
"I didn't like the option of you staying here either, but I figured she needs one of her parents."
I thought about it for a moment, "If we all go home, will Kennedy be safe?"
"Yes."
"Then let's go home."
He smiled, kissing me hard as he lifted me up. "Thank God!"
"Alright, David, Erin and I talked last night when you went to bed. We decided if you went back home, we would also be joining you." Chris informed me.
"Really?" I beamed.
"You're like a daughter to us Lexi, and that little girl we think of as a granddaughter. So we're going to help protect you."
"I'm also bringing back some of my guys, I've already made the call. They will all be at Lucas's house when we arrive. This stalker let Lucas free, which makes him desperate and also very dangerous. I'm not watching my son go back to prison and I sure as hell won't let anyone hurt you or my granddaughter. You have my word sweetheart." David reassured me.
I went up and hugged David. "Thank you."
David nodded.
"So, I called Helen and told her about the baby. I'm almost certain Kennedy's room will be ready at your guys's house when we arrive later tonight." David chuckled.
This made me smile. Kennedy had grandparents in Chris and Erin, yes, but having Lucas parents involved now made me even happier. Now, I just needed my mom. "I love you guys, I almost called back home to you a few times but Max stressed not too and Chris agreed."
"It was the best thing, now we just have to find this bastard so we can all move on." David stated.

I took the guys to a clearing by Chris and Erin's house, where I go almost everyday to talk with Max.
Chris and Erin told me this was one of Max's favorite places to go when he was a child. Erin was from Oklahoma, so they bought this property for when they came to visit her family when Chris wasn't working with David.
"Hey Max, I brought your boys with me today. I also brought you a new picture of Kennedy, she's getting so big." I placed her picture in the frame by the cross I helped Chris make.
"Hey buddy," Lucas said, wiping his wet eyes as he knelt down next to me. "I'm so sorry, Max."
I rested my head against Lucas' shoulder, and held his hand.
"The night I found out I was pregnant, I asked Max to be Kennedy's Godfather. Now, he's her guardian angel." I had tears in my eyes.
