Lucas's P.O.V.

It's been three days since Lexi was supposed to come visit. No one let me know why she didn't show up and when I tried to call Max, he didn't answer my phone calls.

"Hey Costello, you have a visitor." The guard informed me.

"Thank fucking God."

I got up fast. The guard took me to the visiting area. I was excited that it could be Lexi waiting on the other side of the door for me, but walking in I couldn't help but feel disappointment, as I saw Ben and Kevin sitting there instead.

I sat down in my chair. "Where the hell is Lexi? Why didn't she come a few days ago and is she alright?"

They both looked rattled, something was definitely wrong.

"Where is she?" I said, through clenched teeth.

"Lucas, Max and Lexi are missing." Ben told me.

"Missing? What do you mean, missing? I asked, raising my voice.

"Costello!" The guard warned.

Ben continued, "Max took Lexi to her parents house for her Mom's birthday, as you already know. After they left her parents they never showed up here for her visit with you and they never returned home either."

I rubbed my jaw, so many thoughts going through my head.

"We found Max's car in the parking garage, torched and the getaway car, gone! When we looked at the cameras, it showed them pulling in and then the cameras went dead, shortly after that."

"And now you can't find them? What the fuck do you think happened?"

"Lexi's stalker, maybe?" Kevin suggested.

"Like I told Kevin before, that doesn't explain why Max hasn't checked in with me." Ben added.

I looked at Kevin, "How's Lexi been doing?"

"She misses you, so she's been quiet. We talk, but not like we used to."

"The day they disappeared, Lexi was super quiet and spent most of the day in your guys bedroom, where Max also joined her for a little while. I don't think they would do that to you because Max is our best friend and I see the way Lexi looks at you, but something isn't adding up." Ben told me.

I was clenching my fists and jaw when Kevin snapped me out of my murderous thoughts.

"Why in the hell would you tell him that bullshit? Exactly, you see the way Lexi looks at him, you have witnessed what this whole thing has done to her because she is heartbroken he's in here and you tell him that shit?"

"I like Lexi, and Max is my boy… but so is Lucas!" Ben snapped back.

"Find them, NOW!" I yelled.

9 months later…

I was currently beating the shit out of a punching bag in the gym they had in prison. The past nine months have been hell. Max and Lexi are still missing, with no word from either one of them.

"Costello, you have a few visitors." The guard informed me.

"Tell them to fuck the hell off."

"I think you're going to want to see who it is."

Lexi...

I jumped into the shower rinsing off quickly before putting my jumpsuit back on.

The guard didn't take me to the visitor seating like usual, it was a nice lounge. There sat Dad, Ben, my lawyer and Detective Jack.

I couldn't help but feel that pain in my chest again. They weren't Lexi.

I took a seat when Jack started in, "I have some good news. The state is dropping all charges against you… as of right now, you're a free man."

"What? Why?" I questioned.

"A video was sent to our office. It shows the whole incident on tape, including John bringing up his gun, ready to shoot Lexi. It also showed the gun falling into the storm drain."

"Are you serious?" I couldn't help but smile.

"I'm serious. You need to listen to me though, I'm one hundred percent sure John wasn't really Lexi's stalker, which means he's still out there. I know she's missing, but for this evidence to just show up like it did… you need to watch your back Lucas."

"I'll be careful, and I intend to find her."

Walking out of that prison was refreshing.

I got into the SUV with my Dad and Ben. "Did you bring my phone?" I asked them.

Ben handed me the phone. "Who are you calling?" He questioned.

"Tyler…"

Tyler was a tracker. I had a feeling I knew where Max and Lexi were hiding out and that's where I'd be sending him. In the Mafia, you have a safe space you can escape to and with Max's Dad being my dad's right hand man and best friend, I guarantee that's where they are.

"Hey Boss, I heard you were getting out today."

"I'm on my way back to the house, I need a favor."

"Name it?"

"I need you to go to Oklahoma. Max's parents live there and since his Dad, Chris, used to work for my dad, I figured they would think they're safe there. It's just a hunch but I need you to check it out for me."

"Yeah, I'll leave immediately and get back to you."

"Thanks, Ty. I'll send the address."

Hanging up the phone, Dad gave me a look.

"What?" I asked.

"Do you really think that's where they are?"

"Yes. No? I guess I'm praying for that."

"Me too, I can't call Chris and ask. I doubt he'd actually tell us, depending on the situation."

"Dad, do you think Lexi and Max hooked up, because I can't get this scenario out of my head and I want to kill Max."

"Honestly, No... I don't. She loves you, Lucas."

"I love her too, that's why I'll kill that mother fucker if he touched her."

Pulling up to the house was bittersweet. I was greeted by all my men and Mom as we walked into the house.

I finally made it to my bedroom, the one I shared with Lexi. As I looked around, I noticed a picture of us together that she hung up on our mirror. I'm standing behind her with my arms wrapped around her small frame, kissing her cheek as she's smiling at the camera.

I couldn't help but smile. Where are you Lex?

Her clothes, make-up, everythings still here. If she left with Max, they were in a hurry.

My night was spent tossing and turning. Not really different than any other night since my sentencing. I missed Lexi and not knowing where she was or if she was alright, was slowly killing me.

Two days later, I went downstairs and sat next to everyone, "I forgot to ask, where did that stuffed Eagle come from in my room?"

"We saw that, when the room was cleaned. I assumed it was Lexi's, so we left it on the bed." Ben informed me.

My phone pinged with a text from Tyler. Finally!

It was a picture of Lexi with a message.

"Found her Boss, no sign of Max yet."

"We're on our way." I texted back.

"Ty found Lexi, Get the plane ready, we're going to Oklahoma."
